I found the size chart online or at the mightypaw because Amazon does not post it. According to the chart on the com website, a small is 12 inches long. Medium is 14" wide with a 3/4" width, and 14" wide with a 3/4" width. Large is 17" wide with a 1" width, and small is 17" wide with a 1" width. 22" in length and 1" in width. It's a nice collar that's well-made and attractive. I'm surprised it's so cheap considering the high quality. It was a great investment!
I've been using it since I first learned about it. Above and beyond in terms of customer service over and above When you use it, Boots is locked in. The only thing I would recommend is that you make sure you're hooking into the choker hook. this isn't your typical collar As a result of our mistakes, Boots has wiggled a few times. Otherwise, no matter how hard she tries, she will not be able to get out. br>br>With this collar, you can't go wrong, and it's the best I've seen online or in stores. Best of luck!
That's a term I'm unfamiliar with. You must unbuckle the collar (it's a pinch type buckle) to open it. Unbuckling is a breeze. Mine is one of my favorites.
Unfortunately, they are not manufactured in the United States. I just got the collar today and bought it specifically for the Born in the USA statement, but the tag on the collars says MADE IN CHINA.br>I'm returning it and downvoting it.

Please note the following disclaimer: I received a free collar in exchange for an honest review. br>br>I ordered the large size, which fit my 140 pound Great Dane mix perfectly. He wore it for a week before I dropped him off for the holidays at boarding; When I pick him up, I'll update my review if I notice anything new: ) When I first saw the collar in person, I was concerned that it would be too stiff, but it is actually less stiff than some other collars I've seen, though not soft. I'd describe it as a standard nylon collar. During his time wearing it, my dog showed no signs of distress. It's simple to adjust, and the buckle clips easily enough that I don't have to worry about my doogie unclipping it during play. br>br>So far, the build appears to be very durable, and I have no concerns about the hardware or stitching failing, though I did not fully put it to the test because I always use a harness when walking my dog; however, I did use it for a training session, and it held up just fine when my dog lunged for a rabbit. br>br>I adore the fact that this collar comes with two leash clip options: One is near the buckle, and the other is near the martingale. There's also a tiny plastic ring, which I assume was meant for tags. I'm always wary of plastic, so I used the ring by the buckle for tags instead. It seemed sturdy enough, as long as the dog didn't snag their tags on anything frequently. The martingale and traditional collar style rings would then be interchangeable. br>br>Overall, this collar appears to be a great, high-quality product that fills a gap in the market (I have a lot of friends who wish for the security of a martingale with the convenience of a buckle collar). I wish the nylon was a little softer/less stiff, but my dog didn't seem to mind, so it's not a big deal. Anyone looking for a martingale/buckle hybrid should definitely check this out.
This Martingale Collar was supposed to be used to wean my GSD off of a pinch collar. I donned it and went for a walk with her. I gave a slight correction with the lead attached to the collar about half a block into the walk, and it came unhooked and fell off. My initial thought was that I hadn't secured it properly. I reattached it to her and checked to make sure it was secure. I started all over again. About halfway through the walk, I gave her another slight correction, and she was off. Fortunately, she has been well-trained not to flee in the absence of major distractions. I was able to get a grip on her. I simply attached the lead to her regular collar this time, hoping for no major distractions on the way home. The latch does not stay secure, which would make it a nice collar. With minor adjustments, it unravels. This is a collar that I do not recommend. I'd return it if the packaging hadn't been thrown away. I suppose I'll take the loss on the purchase price; I was lucky that my dog was so well-trained. If she hadn't been, it could have been a disaster waiting to happen.
I liked this collar so much that I decided to buy it for resale to my own training clients after going to school with my Frenchie wearing it. I'd like to comment on some of the other reviews I've read. br>1) When properly fitted, this collar should be the size of your dog's neck at its tightest point, ensuring that you are not choking your dog while also preventing him from slipping out. If your dog's head is bigger than his or her neck, It should be about the size of a dog's head. br>2) For correction-based training, martingales should not be used. They aren't meant to be used like that. br>3) the nylon softens significantly with usebr>I only wish there was an extra large size for my larger dog clients! When I need more, I'll order again!.
However, my first order arrived in the wrong size - I ordered a large collar for my new puppy (a 60-pound bully mutt), but received a medium. I contacted the seller directly, and they assured me that a corrected order would be sent out right away, which they did. When I inquired about returning the collar I had, they advised me to donate it to a local animal shelter, which I thought was fantastic. The medium collar will be donated to the shelter where our new puppy was recently adopted. Thank you for being a Mighty Paw for the rest of your life!.
We tried two different collars and four different harness styles, but when our dog was in an uncomfortable situation, he would simply pull back and slip out of them. We couldn't take him anywhere, and we were stumped as to how we could get him to face his fears when he could simply run away. He can't get out of this collar, which is great for both him and us! He's no longer able to flee from his fears. He can now walk confidently past a mailbox, whereas before he would freeze, back out of the harness, and flee. What a blessing in my life!.
This collar is well-made and simple to put on and take off. I've bought other Martingale collars before, but none of them were as simple to put on as this one. There are two different d rings on it as well. One is part of the martingale, while the other is on the collar itself. This comes in handy when I need to quickly tie her outside or secure her in the car's seatbelt. I haven't gotten around to attaching her tags yet, but I really like that this collar has its own Id tag ring.
