Questions & Answers

Something that will actually shock the dog is what I'm looking for. I'd like something that can handle both because he has a lot of aggression issues. ?

I, too, have a vicious dog. Please don't make the same mistakes I did when learning to use the E-mail program. When dealing with an aggressive dog, use a collar and "shocking." When using these collars, make sure you have the proper training. Using a stimulation (shock) on an aggressive dog when they are already aggressive will only make them worse and teach them more aggression. When using an E-mail program, please, please, please get proper training. collar. They're excellent tools, but they're not used in the way that most people do. If you're having trouble with an aggressive dog, you and the dog will almost certainly need something other than an E-collar. collar. After you've completed that task, you can begin using the E-mail. collar.

It does not state that the collar is included, despite the fact that other sellers of the same item do. Is the collar included in the package?

Is this something that will help me with separation anxiety? My 6-month-old pit bull/husky mix is destroying my home! couch cushion with shredded fabric ?

I'm not sure I'd use it for that purpose. It only works if you're within a mile of the collar.

Are you only using the two-lead charger?

You will receive one remote, one collar, and one charger that will charge both the remote and the collar at the same time.

Very pleased, but please take the time to learn how to use it responsibly

My dog is eight years old, and we got him from a shelter. He has always had a number of bothersome issues that we could put up with in the past, but after moving to a new house, these issues began to rapidly worsen for some reason. br>br>I spent a lot of time on YouTube learning how to train and fix these issues, and I also signed up for a subscription-based online dog training program. After about a year, Over the course of two months, I was able to resolve the majority of his issues by employing only positive counter conditioning techniques and making minor adjustments to how we managed him. I was able to resolve the majority of the issues, such as barking at doorbells, knocks, garage door openings, jumping on visitors, barking on leash at people on walks, barking when family members talk a little loudly in the house, and so on. br>br>However, there were two issues that I was unable to resolve using only positive methods. Here are some of them: As we shared a backyard fence with four other neighbors, there was a lot of fencing fighting. the dog is barking On walks, he would lunge at other dogs on leash (though he was fine with humans now)br>br>I debated whether or not to use an eCollar on my dog. It was either put up with my dog's bad behavior and risk neighbors complaining about his fence fighting, or return him to the shelter and let someone else deal with him. As a last resort, I decided to buy this eCollar, and I couldn't be more pleased. br>br>Using only level 6 to 9 and some very good timing, fence fighting was fixed in a matter of days. When he first went berserk before the eCollar, I had to go out to the backyard in the middle of the night with a leash, try to track down my dog, put a leash on him, or carry him inside. On outdoor walks, aggression towards other dogs has significantly decreased, despite the fact that I've only had the collar for about two weeks. 3 weeks. br>br>I'm also using the eCollar outside to help me improve my heel and recall. I can get him to walk right up to my knees with occasional ecollar pressure at level 2 after adding the eCollar for his heel. To give you an idea, when I put the collar on my own body, I barely notice the stim at level 8. It's more of a warning to my dog that he's leaving the heel zone and should return. Certainly not a form of punishment. br>br>For recall on a long leash, I usually work at level 10 to get his attention and get him to return when he is really distracted. br>br>It took me a long time to decide to buy the eCollar, but I am now completely convinced that I made the right decision. I took my time to learn how to use it properly first, and after about 2-hours of use, I was convinced that I had made the right decision. I haven't broken the bond I have with my best friend after three weeks; we are still good friends. In fact, I believe it strengthened our bond because he is much more in tune with me now, whereas he used to turn a deaf ear in the past. I've noticed that he is learning to let me lead the walks and all he has to do is follow. I believe there is now a chance that my dog will be able to leave the house. Maybe in a month or two, I'll get a leash. I'll take him off leash, but only with the eCollar for safety, as soon as there's no aggression toward other dogs and his heel and recall are foolproof even with heavy distractions. br>br>If you, like me, are having problems with your dog and are considering putting it down, DON'T. Don't be afraid to give it a go. I strongly advise you to learn how to use it responsibly on our closest friends first. YouTube has a large number of high-quality, free videos. The following are the two Youtube video series playlists that I found most useful: 1. br>br> How To: Training with a Collar! Take the Lead K9 Trainingbr>2. Take the Lead K9 Training By Liberty K9 Dog Training, Penny's Training Camp Journey br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b br>br>As for the product quality, I found it to be of very good quality, despite the fact that it was a little pricey. I didn't have any of the battery issues that others have mentioned. The battery lasts for about 2 hours. I have three days to charge it before I have to do so. Also, the inconsistent stimulation levels mentioned by others were not an issue for me. But, as I previously stated, I make sure it fits snugly on my dog every time, and, as I previously stated, take the time to learn how to use it properly in order to get the most out of it and to treat your dog with compassion and respect.

Simply amazing, and I was completely opposed to E-commerce
5/5

Collars!   MY LIFE HAS BEEN CHANGED AS A RESULT OF THIS PRODUCT! I was terrified that my dog would bolt from the house and disappear. I was worried about her slipping out of her collar while walking (she's very active) and even getting out of our fenced-in yard. br>br>This e-mail changed my mind. Everything changed when I put on a collar. I can now walk around my subdivision without a leash, and my dog pays attention to everything I say. If she doesn't respond, I simply press the button to draw her attention. My dog has NO RECALL ABILITY, believe me when I say that. She possesses the traits of a timberwolf and is a tenacious individual. br>br>I used to be completely opposed to the use of electric collars, and I still am, but this one is a game changer. There are a total of 100 levels, allowing for a very broad range of stimulation. Because I'm not one to read instructions very carefully, I've never figured out how to use the stimulator. The vibrating mechanism is all I use. br>br>The collar has a variety of functions and also includes a night light. When I first started training my dog, I did so in my fenced-in yard. br>br>The key to success is outlined below.

- If your dog does not respond, keep pressing the button until they notice you and begin walking toward you. When you have their attention, immediately release the button and praise them. br>- When they don't listen, repeat the process until they learn to come to you when you call.
- Begin by walking with the leash attached. The same rules apply as in the previous section. If your dog pulls, tell them no; if they don't, keep pressing the button until they do, then praise them. br>- You'll eventually get your dog to behave the way he or she is supposed to. Or, at the very least, on the "obedient spectrum" rather than the "out of control spectrum. " br>br>Overall, the money I spent on this collar was well spent, and I no longer have as many concerns about my dog running away as long as she understands that the outside world is a dangerous place without her master by her side =].

Our Keeshond Luna is the love of our lives, but she has terrible behavior
5/5

Our Keeshond Luna is the love of our lives, but she has terrible behavior. Since the beginning, I've worked with Luna. We bought this e collar for our 6 month old Keeshond and on the first day I didn't have the correct working for her so she would freak out and just run away. br>br>We bought this e collar for our 6 month old Keeshond and on the first day I didn't have the correct working for her so she would freak out and just run away. br>br>We bought this e collar for our 6 month old Keeshond and on the first day I What a difference it made today that I had the proper work for her. I was able to keep Luna in a sitting or lying position while opening the door and walking outside; however, she became distracted by a bunny and ran towards the desert; I increased the working because of the high levels of distraction, and she immediately returned to me to see what I wanted from her. br>br>I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would strongly advise others to do so. br>br>I tried it on myself to make sure I wasn't hurting my dog, and I'm happy to report that she received no pain, just a gentle nudge in the right direction. Thank you, mini educator. br>br>.

Very let down
3/5

This product, for which I paid $180, has left me extremely disappointed. 00 because I wanted to get a good product, which my dog's trainer recommended. After a few months, the collar portion of the device wouldn't hold a charge for more than a few hours; now, I try to charge it overnight, and the collar light turns orange when I remove it from the charger. After that, it turns off abruptly. For nearly the entire day, the light on the collar should be green! So, I'm disappointed, but I'd be willing to give the product another chance if the seller could replace it. br>br>Both the collar and the hand held portion had a design that I liked.
