As I ordered an XSL for my 9 month-old, 3 lb Yorkie, I measured her at 8 inches. Despite the size differences, they fit well (true to size), perform well, and have plenty of room for growth!
Pads are made to go along with these diapers that can be washed and reused. It works for both males and females of my purchase a pack of 10 of these on Amazon. It is much more cost-effective to use these than disposable pads in the long run. To wash them, I also got some Rockin' Green Dirty Diaper laundry detergent. Designed with enzymes to remove urine stains and odors, it is a natural product. As if they were brand new, the pads come out of the wash.
In my experience working for a reproductive animal hospital, I know that pregnancy cannot be prevented by this treatment. A male intact dog will literally chew through walls to get to a female in heat! This is because when he sees a female in heat, he is in heat! When they get a scent on this diaper they will rip it off! Do not underestimate the danger! You might want to use a diaper and place them in different rooms or crates while you're away. The diaper won't do the trick for me. I can prove to you that I'm right. You can ask my French bulldog/pug if you doubt me, you can.... This is the section we just completed. The Belly Band does have stretch to it. My puppy is growing fast and with them I am able to provide the stretch that I needs for his growth. Take a moment to consider the feelings it will evoke for YOU. On Day 1, we had A pity face appeared on their faces and they wondered what they had done to deserve it. Their eyes remained fixed on the ground. The lady allowed them to remain on and gave me a stinky look when I realized they couldn't remove them. Day two I felt bad but remained committed to my goals. There's no need to worry anymore. The puppies learned to jump with them on and reach places, scratch their diaper with their hands. The one who went under the couch and wiggled like he had baggy pants went under the couch and wiggled until it slipped. There are a few times when you need to say no and adjust A stop was made. It was THE NEXT DAY, after I submitted this review, that the customer service representative, Amy, contacted me. Despite her apologies, she was very concerned about the wraps not fitting properly, and i was very grateful to her for obtaining my dog's measurements so that they could make an XXS size in the future. It was my pleasure to assist them, and I was able to measure my wiggle- room This is the length of a worm (in cm, since he is so small). I sent them an email back and forth a couple of times, and then they came back and offered to make a set for my dog In addition to being kept up to date on production and shipping (it was shipped from China), I was finally able to receive the wraps. I can't believe how well they fit! It's not going to work! He will be stuck with these wraps for a very long time to come! *While I was waiting for my XS size wraps, I did need another set (I need to let them air dry, which takes a few days) so decided to order another set from another company to see if it would Other brands, like the one made by IN HAND, have a longer velcro, which fits slightly better (I still had to add extra velcro), but the quality is far inferior to the Wegreeco brand. Their wraps leak quite a bit. When my dog jumps off to pee, and then jumps back into bed with its wet wrap, we use these at night. As soon as I wake up, my diaper is soaked. It is the fabric of the Wegreeco wrap that is so much more absorbent, I never get this problem when he wears one of them. It makes me so happy to finally have a set of collars that fit my dog! Maybe they'll be able to start making XXS wraps when there are enough requests!.
