Size small is what I bought. A 4 is what I have. The puppy weighs 10 pounds. While housetraining him is going pretty well so far, he does piddle a little when he's playing with the kittens. My choice of lining is the medium absorbent incontinence pads, and they are working wonderfully. They help the bands move with him as Velcro is quite strong on these bands. They are also a bit stretchy, so the bands fit well on the belly. Even though I am lazy, the idea of being able to toss the pads every time I use them is convenient. I'm sure they would work fine without the incontinence As for the fact that you will need pads if your dog suffers from overnight accidents, I am pretty sure you will need them. Because the incontinence pad is extremely absorbent, you do not want urine to come into contact with their skin. In addition to the fact that these belly bands will last much longer than disposable ones, there will also be fewer dog accidents on the pad as you train it. If you remove the disposable belly bands a few times and put them back on, you will find that the Velcro on those pads gets weakened. It only takes a couple of seconds to undo the Velcro, take your dog out to potty, and reattach it. He doesn't have accidents every day, so I only use one pad on those days. How have these not been here for all of my dog's life? I love these. We have a teddybear pupper who likes to play yellow splash parties at home to express his male ego. We spent many months trawling through carpets in our new home, so we needed a solution before moving in. This has been a great solution. When it comes to keeping your dog nice and fresh, I would suggest purchasing many of these and keeping them around. To keep our doggo clean, we have him go out every day and switch the soiled wrap for a clean one. I think so far, it's been working great.

The price of one diaper has been around $25. It's amazing how these diapers work! What makes them so marvelous is not only that they are reasonably priced, but the way they work as well. Having the velcro area on the large side makes them fit well. My dog doesn't try to pull them down because they fit well, and they don't pull it down or off for some reason.
