This is a great product. The way my dog got out of it when I accidentally left one on showed how much they hold. I have no problems keeping them on and my Yorkie doesn't seem bothered by them. A small fits him because he weighs 5 pounds.

The sizing is a bit off for a 5# chihuahua with a 10" waist. They work well, but I think they should be a bit smaller. The five I consider important. Because of the size recommendation, the 5# chihuahua measured 10" in front of his back legs, so I ordered the size Small. However, they were too big, and he kept being able to get out of them because they were too loose. Having ordered a small pack and having them delivered perfectly, I ordered 3 more packs, so I could keep changing them often. Since he is new here, and he likes to "mark" his territory, this is necessary. It is very convenient, it is not too expensive (12 pk of disposables cost more), and it seems that they are well made, since I have already washed them several times and they are still in good shape. A small male poodle of mine likes to mark and needs to be left alone far too long before he has an accident. I have found these to be life-saving! We did not need to worry about him marking while we were away or having an accident while we were away. Our pads to go with them are more absorbent, so we bought them to go with them as well. Using the money I had left over from the sale, I bought 5 packs of dog diapers for my Chihuahua. The disposable ones are easier to use, lighter, and more comfortable to wear than the reusable ones. The only idea or request we had was one. Having the inner part all black takes away any ability to tell if they peed or if they had dark or discolored urine. My suggestion would be to maybe paint the center part where pee goes into white so that you can clearly see It feels incredibly dry to pee on them even after they have peed. There is a problem with this, but it is for the dog's benefit. Your product seems to be really good and we have ordered another five packs. We tried the other ones, but they were stiff when we touched them, so we sent them back and bought these instead. I look forward to seeing if you can make any changes to this request. Several days after writing this my second batch of diapers arrived and I love them, their insides are all white. It is so much easier to tell when they are wet since the outer shield of the diaper keeps dog dry. I will continue to use As a result, it came in first place. We have a 18 year old Beagle who can't go for 8 hours without going potty and we wanted to try alternative routes before giving the dog drugs, so I found these and my dog has been through them without any issues. They work just as good as a kotex pad when hubby forgets to put it in every so often, but at least the Belly Bands do not leak when I wash them and hang them up to dry. Would buy again in a heartbeat. My older male dog has already been recommended to every person I know.

Dogs over the age of three should use this product. Our new male dog was well-trained with these belly bands. Though, without considering durability, this product is sized appropriately and can easily be fitted to a dog as long as the dog is willing to wear There is quite a bit of liquid absorption by the bands. The washing machine is able to handle them well - The Velcro should be attached and the inside should be turned inwards to wash them. Other bands will find it more difficult to stick to the elastic.
