Questions & Answers

If you ordered it right now, when would it expire?

I bought it in 2020, and it expires in 2021, according to the label. However, I believe that is a question for the manufacturer, as I purchased a large quantity for two dogs, one of whom died this past year. Regardless, most medicines have a one-year shelf life.

What does "giant" and/or "large" mean to them? Is there a chart that shows how much you should weigh?

A weight chart can be found.

What caused such a significant price increase?

This is insane - On Amazon, you can purchase fish oil capsules. the same quantity, same size, identical ingredients at 10 of cost

I'm not sure what kind of fish this is, but it looks like it could be a ?

It's still good, but it's not allergy-friendly
3/5

WHAT I AM RECEIVING IS NOT THE SAME ALLERGY-RELATED INFORMATION THAT YOU RECEIVED. 3 I USED TO BE ABLE TO GET. It's the same product as before, but with a different label - a label that does not include the words "Allerg-3" - I've attached photos of the old and new labels, as well as the old and new ingredients list. br>br>As I mentioned in the title, this product may still be a good one, and I plan to ask our veterinarian about it next week. It is, however, unethical to display one label on the product page while shipping a product with fewer vitamins.

It is overpriced
5/5

I was giving my dog the same Vitamin E capsule that I took every morning. When I told my veterinarian about it, she told me that dogs can have Vitamin E reactions. and recommended this product; however, the vet was out of stock (and wanted to sell it to me for a higher price), so instead of waiting for them to order it, I went to Amazon and found it. These capsules contain the following ingredient: The antioxidant vitamin E the same chemical formula, and the gel capsule is the same capsule as the Vitamin E capsules on sale at every grocer/pharmacy that sell for 5% of this price. < br>br>The cost issue stems from my reliance on my veterinarian.

Product of High Quality - It's a fantastic price, and it's a fantastic deal! This was recommended by our veterinarian for my 80-pound red Dobe's dry skin
5/5

They are a hit with him! I pricked the capsule the first couple of times so he could taste the liquid inside, but now all I have to do is ask if he wants a "yummy gummy," which he happily accepts. They helped him with his flaky, itchy skin and did wonders for him. He gets one a day unless it's extremely dry, in which case he can get up to three.

Coats with a lustrous sheen and a soft feel
5/5

These fish oil gels were recommended by our veterinarian for our older setters' joints, as well as for our 5-year-old setter's recovery from knee surgery and to prevent further joint damage. Only time will tell how well the joints hold up, but the softness and lustre of their coats has been a pleasant surprise. It took almost a month for us to notice the difference, but they now look fantastic. They've been on the gels for a month and a half. When our older girl is stressed, the dander starts to fly, but she now has very little dander. We don't have anything close to a "dog" odor. It's a treat for the dogs, so they eat it with their dinner. First and foremost. I'd poke a hole in the gell and squeeze out the oil onto the food. That was inconvenient, so I just threw the gel on top of their food and waited to see what happened. They devoured the food and went out in search of more! They don't have a fishy odor on their skin, but their breath does. That is, however, why it is given to them in the evening. Their breath is fresher in the morning.

Capsules with the highest concentration of essential fatty acids
5/5

My dogs have all used these for years to help with dry skin issues, and this bottle is a good value, especially for large dogs, as other brands may require you to give extra capsules to accommodate your pet's size, quickly depleting your supply! We simply place the capsule in their food (dry kibble) and they devour it. There's no fishy odor to alert them to the presence of the creature in the bowl. My dogs' skin has improved as a result of this, and they are no longer greasy to the touch. We used to have a problem with an overly greasy-flavored product. These aren't as thick as some other brands' feeling coats, but they do a great job of lubricating the skin without being too thick. This is the first time I've ever been loyal to a company.

Single-serving liquid dispensers are what these are called
3/5

It's extremely difficult to give your dog 2000mg as directed by your veterinarian without forcing them to eat a million chewables per day or opting for the liquid on top of food. Initially, the idea of one single 2000mg pill seemed fantastic. The size is less appealing; I have a 105-pound dog with a large mouth that inhales just about anything. This pill will not be taken by him. I've tried giving it to him as a treat, burying it in his food bowl, and forcing it down his throat. It's not going to work. I ended up poking a hole in it and squeezing it on top of his food once a day, which I didn't want to do. There is some convenience in knowing you are 2000mg, whereas the pumps seem to be all over the place when it comes to dosing. Single-serving liquid dispensers are what these are called.

For your dog, this is an excellent supplement
5/5

My beagle's diet needed to be supplemented with Omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 Added Vetoquinol Triglyceride Once a day, give your pet three fatty acid supplement capsules containing fish oil. He has a smoother coat and scratches less. It's a big capsule, and I have to coerce him into taking it. I suppose it doesn't smell appetizing to him because he eats almost anything! Thankfully, the capsule has no effect on his breathing. Every time I place an order, I compare prices on Chewy and Amazon.

Hopeful
4/5

I've only had my GSD on these for a few days, so I can't say how well they'll work. Because of his itching and biting, he was on Apoquel, which my veterinarian recommended. I really wanted to get him off the medication because it's so expensive ($65 for a month's supply) and I've read that Apoquel may be harming him more than helping him. I came across this product and decided to give it a try because of the positive reviews I'd read. The only drawback is that the pills are enormous; I have to stuff them into pill pockets where they are literally protruding, but I give them to my dog, who devours them. So I'm hoping that his itching, scratching, and biting will improve in the long run.
