He gets 1 teaspoon per day mixed with his Honest Kitchen rehydrated powder food, and he weighs 38 pounds. With the cod liver oil, he actually prefers it! We noticed a significant difference in his coat after about two months on it! His fur was a lot softer and smoother than mine. We have him on Dasaquin Advanced, so I can't say it helped with his joint issues, but this stuff is a nice addition to your pup's regular routine.

Although it was a little pricey, I purchased it for my female dog, who suffers from numerous allergies and consequently develops dry skin. She'll scratch and irritate her skin until it starts to bleed. This appears to be beneficial in that it keeps her coat soft and prevents it from drying out. The true test will come in the summer, when she will be exposed to more allergens. However, I'm pleased with the results thus far. It appears to be quite successful.

They are extremely sensitive, so I wanted to be extremely cautious with what I gave them. The only difference is the size of the container and the labeling on this bottle, which says it's for dogs. After reading the labels on their other packages, it appeared that one drop per pound was the proper dosage. To get an idea of the right dose, I weighed myself with and without a cat in my arms. It's important not to give too much because it has blood-thinning properties, and if your cats are anything like mine, they'll regard it as candy. I'm the one who has to say, "That's it. I only need to give my dog a small amount, but I end up losing just as much trying to get it out of the bottle. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but a dropper would come in handy.

My cat despises the flavor, but I can't put it down to the business. She is a picky eater. To get around her dislike, I give her an eighth of a teaspoon twice a day via an eye dropper into pill pockets. So far, the cat is still fond of me, and she hasn't experienced any unpleasant side effects such as vomiting or diarrhea. br>br>My only gripe is that the bottle's label only lists Vitamin A, not Vitamin D. Vitamin D, on the other hand, is listed as a component on Amazon. I double- The amount of A and D in the fish varies depending on when they were caught, according to the company.

My cat was sick almost every day but otherwise seemed to be in good health. I figured I'd give cod liver oil a try for all of the above because he was showing signs of joint tightness and a dull coat. He stopped throwing up after only two days on this. I'd heard it could help with an inflamed digestive tract, so I'm wondering if that's what was causing his vomiting. He starts throwing up again if we don't give him his dose for a couple of days. He's walking a little better now, but he still has dandruff. I'm happy with how well this product has helped his digestive system and would recommend it to others.
