Except for high triglycerides, her bloodwork was all normal. Because a few others from a different country were high in heavy metals, my vet recommended that she start taking Omega3 fish oil. He specifically mentioned Nordic Naturals as a trusted brand. I did purchase the Nordic Naturals 2-pack, and my dog was a huge fan of the flavor. I mix it in with her hard food, and she cleans the entire dish. She's only been on it for a week and a half, but I can tell she's feeling a little better based on her demeanor. It was also delivered the next day. It will most certainly be purchased again.

Pogo, my oldest dog, was experiencing arthritic pain in her back legs, so the vet suggested Nordic Naturals Omega 3. These kinds of problems are common among her age group (she will turn 18 in August). It's simple to use because both of my dogs enjoy it. They'll eat it straight from the bowl or spread it on top of food. When I see Pogo bouncing down the street, I know the Omega 3 is making a difference. It has a mild odor that attracts dogs. It's also simple to disperse thanks to the dropper bottle top.

We've been using this omega-3 supplement for a while now. For years, three. We like that it's made from small fish, which means there's less risk of mercury contamination, and we trust the brand's purity and dark glass (which prevents product spoilage). The only drawback is that pouring into a spoon can be messy. Because the oil always runs down the side of the bottle, I have to wipe the neck of the bottle with a paper towel. I wish there was an insert at the neck opening to keep the oil from spilling out the side, similar to what some olive oil bottles have (though the extra plastic just adds to landfill waste), and I wouldn't use pumps because it would be more difficult to measure out the oil. Anyway, the product is great; the dispensing is a minor annoyance, but we'll keep using it.

My dog takes Apoquel on a daily basis for skin issues but it isn't 100% complete proof. I started putting Nordic Naturals in his food in the evenings, and his skin problems have vanished completely! This is incredibly exciting after trying a slew of different supplements, shampoos, and foods over the course of several years with little to no success. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a pet with skin problems! 😁.

I've only recently begun using this product, so I can't comment on its long-term effectiveness, but my dog seems to enjoy it and it doesn't stink, so it's a good start.
