I have not given this medication to my pets because I only keep it on hand as a back-up in case they require it. Corn oil is listed as an ingredient, and it can cause allergic reactions in some dogs and cats. If you discover that your pet's food source contained corn meal or that a product containing corn oil caused allergic reactions in your pet, then this RX would not be a good choice. I hope that this information aids you in your decision to purchase this product.

Oils of Canada Balsam, Camphor, Origanum, and Rosemary are blended in a corn oil base. Regardless of what the ingredients say, DO NOT drop this into your nostrils! Oil coats the lungs and can quickly suffocate your pet. Use only a small amount on/under the nose, being careful not to get it into the nostrils! (Especially if you have breathing problems or allergies, for example. ).
VetRx is the same for all animals, according to the product description. Only the box has changed. AND the box's instructional insert is for the animal depicted on the box, i. e. Chicken vs. dogs. For my chickens, I chose the "dog" one because it was the cheapest at the time. Simply go online and print out the chicken instructions. br>br>UPDATEbr>Feb 2013br>used it for red itchy legs on my hens - used a drop or two a day in the water used to make feed mash for three hens - cured right upbr> In the winter, it seemed to help with sneezing. After a "spa" day with the chickens, wipe it on the scales of their legs.
- It's only my opinion - not a medical recommendation.
My boyfriend's best friend uses this on his dog's puppies, so it gets four stars. However, I was apprehensive about using it on my dog.
My duck had been sick for a long time, and this helped him within a week! Every day, he simply rubbed it into his nostrils and then poured a few drops into his swimming pool.
There wasn't much I could do. My 13- year- Due to severe allergies, the old pit bull sneezed and wheezed. I followed the directions exactly and got nothing. There was not much assistance. People claim that it is a panacea, but it isn't true. Sorry. I finally found some doggie sudafed at Petco, and it worked perfectly.
We use this product on our chickens and it works wonders for respiratory issues, so when our dog had an allergic reaction to local pollens, we decided to give VetRX a try. It immediately alleviated her breathing problems. We'll keep some in the house and in the barn! www. fresheggsdaily. com/br>Lisabr>Fresh Eggs Dailybr>www. fresheggsdaily. com/br>Lisabr>Fresh Egg fresh- eggs- daily. com.
I use it myself because it's so good! That is not a lie. You can buy a thousand different products and take your chances if you have a stuffy nose. You can either buy this stuff and not have any regrets, or you can buy it and not have any regrets. It is entirely up to you. All of you pet lovers have the best of luck. In my opinion, you are unique individuals.
Unfortunately, this product did not help my dog find something he was looking for. I saw a specialist, and he said he might have chronic rhinitis, which could explain why it didn't work.
