Celox, a blood clotting agent, is present in 15g. We haven't cracked it open yet, but it appears to be some kind of powder or salt.

This is a small pet first-aid kit for a dog or other small animal. The kit is very nice, and after reading the information, you will see that it is well worth your money. Each of my son's paramedic partners' trucks has a kit. They used it to clean and bandage a little girl's puppy who had only gotten a scratch. The mother was extremely grateful to them; she recognized that it was insignificant to her, but it meant the world to her daughter. She enjoyed being able to choose the brightly colored band-aid.

Is this kit also suitable for cats (as well as dogs)?

I haven't got a cat, so I'm not sure.

This was a Christmas present for my son, who recently acquired a Yorkie puppy. My son, who came up with the idea, is very interested in first aid and thought it would make a wonderful gift. The recipient's son is a police officer and paramedic, and he was blown away by the gift, which he described as "amazing" and "a gift he never expected. " He opened the package and went over all of the contents, stating that it was a very well-equipped kit to have on hand for your dog. He'd gotten everything he wanted and more. As a result, he was a huge fan. He keeps a medical kit in his squad car and his personal vehicle at all times as a paramedic, and this is going to his car. It's fantastic, according to my son.
