After it was opened I had to keep plastic wrap over it since it was sealed with a plastic seal. I had a similar experience with the other one. The whole thing didn't make any sense to me. It is often used by my toddler in order to avoid feeding my Great Pyrenees puppy from her high chair, but there are still occasions when he gets some human food and when that happens, his stomach is not always able to handle it well. The maximum dose of this medicine would not work because I would give him the maximum dose. There is a chance that this medicine had some sort of effect. Maybe that is normal for this type of medicine, admittedly I am not that familiar with this type of issue, I only know that the other brand I got previously had the same ingredients. I was able to use it right away. Did they have a higher concentration of something? The answer to that is I'm not sure. Exactly how this works for some people may be different I was not able to get it to work & The fact that the lid was missing was a big disappointment. I wouldn't recommend it or buy it Thanks for understanding.
I cleared it up immediately. The fact that she could be comforted by something is encouraging.
It is great for treating upset stomachs and diarrhea with kaolin and pectin. She eats wild turkey poop whenever she finds it, even though it causes her to go to the bathroom in a foul manner. Taking kaolin/pectin twice a day gets rid of the rash.
There is a problem with chronic diarrhea in my elderly dog, and he hates the prescription food our vet prescribed to By mixing a bit of this with 1/2 palatable dog food and 1/2 cooked white rice, you can almost get it right.
It can be difficult for them to digest food when they eat off the floor or have food Having gone 3 days without eating, they are now back on their normal eating schedule.
I found this product to be extremely helpful while my dog recovered from pancreatitis and dealt with inflammatory issues in her digestive system. It helped to keep her stools firm until she recuperated. Towards the end of her life (she was 17 years old), it wasn't working as well anymore, and other medical treatments did not help. I did not find any difficulty with the product. It was just an issue with a very elderly dog whose system had failed. Although this provided her relief for quite a while, it also contributed to extending her quality of life for a long period of time. In her younger days, she had also been a snatcher and gulper of pretty gross stuff out on a walk. So, in those cases, the poisons she had swallowed were a godsend until they were passed through her systems.
It often happens that my dog's bowel movements change whenever we swap out food, so I felt it would be best if I could avoid that dilemma. I administered it to her about three times according to the directions. Her condition did not improve and so I took her to the vet. The doctor prescribed something else and she is now okay. The reason I'm upset is that I paid money twice when going to the doctor could have easily been done once.
I bought this to supplement the bland diet and probiotics I gave him to get his stools to be better formed since my furry buddy has GI sensitivity, and when he gets diarrhea it takes him longer to recover and get back to normal than other dogs. It did not help. The recommended dosage in the bottle was given to him for 2 days and I saw no improvement, so I decided not to give him any more. He remained the same, so I am guessing it did not do much good.
