It doesn't sting at all. When brushing my cat's teeth, I use it. I put some in a measuring spoon and dip a cotton swab in it before brushing his teeth and gums, but I only do it once a week. Occasionally, once or twice a week. between brushings on a daily basis Colloidal Silver appears to be preferable to the regular toothpaste I use to brush my cat's teeth. I hope this information is useful.
It works wonders for irritated skin. Is it true that the mites have all but vanished?

His eyes were swollen shut and runny with infection, his nose was torn, and he could barely walk due to what I eventually discovered in one of his foot pads: a piece of either a tooth or a claw from the assailant that had jumped him. That all happened on October 10, 2016, more than a month after I ordered this item as part of my arsenal against the many things that attack our small dogs, our outside cats, and various other critters we try to treat for ailments around here. I was afraid we'd have to take our old cat to the vet to have him put down, but he seemed relieved to be held and let me try to treat his wounds without fuss. So I used pet-approved pain medicine, sterile wound cleaners, and then a direct spray in the mouth of Colloidal silver daily, along with minor'surgical' procedures on his foot, as the pad was extremely swollen to nearly 20 times its normal size. It took 3 weeks to complete. As a side note, I'd rather not see the other guy because my Bubbah is a tough kitty.
We're caring for a wonderful dog who has had a spinal injury and is slowly regaining his ability to walk. He was still tired and dragging his little paws when we got him. We were able to avoid infections with physical therapy and the use of silver spray, and he is now able to walk without difficulty. We'd lift him up and spritz his paws (each time if he reopened the skin) before laying him back in his pillow bed when he was tired out, and his skin was scabbing and healing within two days. When he slipped, the scabs came off, but he was less irritated and inflamed underneath. We continued to spritz for a week, and his skin is now completely healed and free of infection. br>br>Silver is an excellent treatment that should be kept on hand by all dog owners as a first-aid kit. It helps with skin irritation, small cuts, and healing raw chewing areas, among other things. br>br>Because we used so much of the last bottle, we need to order another just to make sure we have enough on hand.
My Tonkinese cat had awful lesions on his neck, shoulders, and in the area between his eyes and ears. His age was 15, and he had recently begun treatment for hypothyroidism. I took him to the vet several times, and they gave him an antibiotic shot while they awaited the results of tests to determine whether the problem was bacterial or fungal in nature. They also gave him drops and then an ointment that claimed to be effective against both types of infection. He received treatment for both types for three weeks and showed little improvement. Both bacteria and fungal tests came back negative, so they took him off the medication to see if it was a reaction, but after a week, there was still no improvement. These were dreadful, bloody creatures. A crust, but not a scab, would form as a result of the medication. The sore remained after the crust was removed. I'd used colloidal silver before to treat minor wounds from rough play in my two cats, as well as once when this cat was recovering from a fungal infection that had responded to medication but then seemed to be trying to come back. As a result, I made the decision to give it a try. THE SORES IMMEDIATELY BETTERED THE FOLLOWING DAY. After ten days of only using this, there is only one small area where any part has not healed. I also didn't have to worry about him putting anything in his mouth because it can be sprayed into their drinking water. This is truly remarkable. Try it.
My cat had a bilateral mastectomy on November 9th, 2017 and developed a rash on the inside of her rear legs as a result of the surgery. I tried everything the vet and others recommended, including veterycin, silvadene, hydrogen peroxide, and momentamax, as well as going without any medications for a few days with no improvement. My coworker suggested I look for silver after she tried it on her skin, so I did some research and discovered it on Amazon, where I decided to give it a try. Oh, my God, I wish I'd started two months ago. I've noticed a difference in just a few days, and I've posted pictures to prove it. Several times a day, I spray in her water and in her wound. I believe she will be fully recovered in a few days and will be able to remove her e collar at that time.
When I spray this on her, she stops scratching, and the next afternoon, I notice a difference. Because she gets yeast sores in her ears, I also sqray it in there.
My toy poodle had a yeast or fungus of some sort under his front legs on both sides of the body-leg junction. The vet was perplexed because antibiotics had failed to work. I'm glad I found this product because I was so frustrated with the other ointments and sprays I tried for yeast and fungal infection that didn't work. This was visibly helping from the very first spray. I hope they keep this product on the market for a long time!.
I WOULD GIVE IT TEN STARS AND MORE IF I COULD. I have a Shih Tzu who gets hot spots all the time, and I spent hundreds of dollars at the vet trying to find a solution. The drugs they gave him were extremely toxic, and he experienced negative side effects as a result. We didn't sleep for days because he was so sluggish and unhelpful. After that, I went on the internet to look for something natural. After reading these reviews, I decided to give this product a try. I thank God that colloidal silver is miraculous, and I spray it on him at the first sign of a hot spot, and within hours he is relieved and can sleep, and I can sleep, and the hot spot has completely dried up two days later. I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to let everyone who is going through this know that it is truly miraculous and will save you and your pet a lot of time, money, and stress. Also, my dog doesn't mind if I spray this on him because he knows he'll feel better.
