I have a cocker spaniel with skin issues as well, and I've found that bathing the dog every three days with GNC Anti-Bacterial Shampoo has helped. Bacterial Antibiotics are antibiotics that are used to prevent bacteria from multiplying A combination of fungal shampoo and peroxide is extremely beneficial. Following the bath, I applied the sentry Hot Spot to her. I apply sentry wound cream to any open wounds caused by her scratching. We even switched her to Blue Buffalo chicken or salmon food, which is grain-free. Grain-free treats are also available. It's all made a big difference in her happiness. smell. as well as their appearance
The answer is yes, there is a time limit. The date of purchase appears to be around two years ago.
The active ingredient in this product is benzalkonium chloride. In terms of licking, it's only for external use, but I scold my dog because he likes it (he licks everything).
This is not a sudsy experience. It quickly heals a hotspot. the most effective on the market

After that, we have to clean and wrap her paws or place a cone on her head! Ugh! ALL THAT TROUBLE WHEN THERE WAS ALREADY A PRODUCT THAT DID AWAY WITH IT! I'm shocked that my veterinarian has never informed me of this product!! When I put it on her paws, she ignores it! She had no reaction to it, and it did not sting her, but she refused to lick it! It aids in the immediate healing of the sores and prevents her from licking them! For the first time in a long time, she hasn't had any "hot spots" or allergy sores!! This stuff is gold in a bottle!.
Buddy, our smallest Coonhound, developed a rash on his right cheek. I didn't know what to get because I'd never had a dog with a hotspot. Buddy's hotspot started to calm down after only one day of use (we keep it in the fridge so it's nice and cold when I apply it) - The irritated, angry red oozing has stopped, and the wound appears to be healing. I've only had it for three days and will provide an update. We've had to limit his running time and keep him occupied on the porch with some animal sound toys - Despite a comfortable bed and a fan blowing on him on the covered porch, he likes to cool off by digging dirt holes. ) & He appears to be dead set on burying the hotspot side of his face in the dirt/mulch/etc. So, while I would recommend this product because it took the "angry red" look out of his hotspot IMMEDIATELY, I would strongly advise against the time-honored canine practice of cooling off in freshly-cut grass. especially when a hotspot develops, dug dirt holes This is our first and hopefully last encounter with this condition!.
When using this, it says to apply to a clean area and that you don't need to add water or anything. However, when I used it on my dog, it ended up looking like I used a lot of soap because it turned into that white foamy way that dish soap does. Now, as far as helping my dog, I'm not sure. When I bought this, I tried another Amazon-recommended product that was about the same price and came in a white tube, so I stopped using it and stuck to the stuff in the tube anyways, where she had lost her hair from chewing on it so much during the summer skin irritation, and it has now grown back. I wish this stuff worked because it doesn't have a smell like the other stuff I'm using on her. The other stuff I'm using on her smells like arthritis cream, but it clears up my sinuses LOL. I'm just relieved that my dog's spots have faded and her hair is beginning to regrow.
Hotspots and skin irritations respond well to this treatment. What I don't like about it is the blue dye color; I wish companies would be more forthright and stop adding unnecessary extra ingredients that may be harmful to humans and pets. If the unwanted dyes were removed, I would give them a five-star rating. The company should be ashamed for failing to list the inactive ingredients on the label of the bottle.
Our 14-year-old granddaughter The skin on my year old bichon/terrier has always been sensitive, but he's had a rash of hot spots recently. We wanted to provide him with immediate relief without having to rely on a dubious, out-of-state source. source of the country He received no relief from this Sentry product. It was a good decision for me. We'd go to any length to relieve him of his suffering. However, we will consult with our veterinarian the next time. It was entirely my fault for attempting to save money.
THIS IS EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREME We have a 6-year-old Chocolate Lab/Beagle (yes, he's adorable), but he collects heat under his collar and develops a hot spot there. We usually don't put his collar on him, but he does get sores under his wrinkled neck rolls now and then. The vet prescribed a variety of medications, and we purchased an over-the-counter hot spot treatment (a yellow, oily substance that smells like paint thinner). This treatment is by far the most effective; our dog tolerates it, it does not sting him, and it does not stink. He makes a valiant attempt to lick it away. It resembles the consistency of shampoo in thickness. We squeeze a small amount on and rub it in, allowing it to suds up a little before letting it air dry. If you haven't tried it yet, it is well worth your time. DOES AMAZING THINGS.
Baths and cortisone are only effective for a limited period of time. She was nervous at first when I approached her st, but now she wags her tail whenever she sees the bottle. I'm thankful for this product because I want to be a good dog mother. This made me very happy! br>It doesn't have a strong odor and isn't sticky.
We tried supplements, as well as various shampoos and conditioners, but the scratching persisted. br>br>However, this product actually works to relieve itching. br>br>I squeeze a tiny amount onto my index finger and lightly rub it over my dog's irritated skin. And he's not going to scratch it for the rest of the night. br>br>Because it's a little difficult to get it off my hands, I use Palmolive to help break up the residue.
