That is an excellent query. This product is similar to a lotion, and it is gently massaged into or around the infected area. The liquid bandage appears to be a good product, but I'm not sure about it. You can find the correct answer on the 'Vet' website or by calling a veterinarian.
It aids in the relief of pain caused by irritation and infection, such as a rash. I'm not sure about a wound, but it does seem to speed up the healing process.

My 13-year-old Irish Setter suffers from allergies and is a nervous animal in general. We've been battling an open wound on his back leg for the past three years because he refuses to stop licking it. I've been to the vet about every 8 weeks for the past two years, and nothing they've given me, including doggie prozac and arthritis medicine, has helped. I don't want to keep my dog in a collar 24/7 because he intentionally runs into everything he can while he's in it, breaking everything he can. We've had a breakthrough thanks to this medication! His wound is now covered in healing scabs, and he no longer appears to be obsessed with licking it. And it appears that my dog has rediscovered his fondness for me! I can't stop myself from being enamored with this.
My puppy had a sore spot on his leg, and when I applied this cream and checked in the morning, it appeared to be making a significant difference. I noticed his paw was completely black towards the end of the night. I'm not sure if the medication caused a reaction, but we wound up in the emergency room with a fever.

Our daughter ordered this, and we weren't sure it would work; we'd never heard of it before, and the price was too good to pass up. He hadn't slept in days, and he was miserable. Nothing worked, he had ulcers allll over his paws, not cracks, ulcers. We put this on his paws, washed our hands, and "He was asleep. " He's a 70lb pitbull, and nothing worked. THIS CREAM WORKS LIKE A MAGIC! This was not required of me. BUT, OF COURSE, I DID! Our Little One is once again content.
I mistakenly thought I was removing hair when I was actually removing skin. She made no attempt to communicate with me about what I had done. I purchased this product, and she now only has a small area where what happened can be seen. This is an amazing product! I'm amazed at how quickly you got back on your feet. I was so worried, but it turns out she only has a minor ailment!.
My Rhodesian ridgeback's ear was cut, and it kept getting bigger. We tried using a liquid bandage, but it made me feel terrible putting it on him because it was so painful. This was by far the best of many dog first aid antiseptics that we ordered!!.
My English bulldog has a history of heath and skin issues. She scratched her skin until it was raw because she was itchy. I had a two-week wait for an appointment with the veterinarian, so I used this product to pass the time. Allergies struck the poor baby. It did, however, heal her open wound and keep her from becoming infected. She's now a contented canine. Here's a look at the before and after. It was on the top of her neck (first photo) and the bottom of her neck (second photo). You can see how it fades over time, and then her hair grows back to a more normal state. All of this occurred prior to receiving antibiotics and allergy medication from the veterinarian. The last photo shows her and her new sibling on their way to the vet. Her hair and skin have nearly returned to normal, with the exception of a slight pinkness beneath the fur. Once the wound was healed, I used this in conjunction with a hot spot cream.
I saw a difference in two days with this product. My dog had a bad wound on his testicles, so I used this bad boy, along with the remedy and recovery spray, and it worked in no time! I couldn't believe my eyes!.
To be honest, I wish I could give this a zero-star rating because it made my dachshund's skin worse! I have photos of how it appeared. br>br>Picture 1: For a week, she suffered from an abscess on her face. Warm compresses and a home-made saline solution had started to help it heal. br>Pictures 2 I purchased this item to aid in the healing of her skin. This product was supposed to keep her abscess from getting worse, but it actually made it worse. I no longer use it. br>br> she was taken to the Emergency Room of the Pet Medical Center Her skin started to get better. swelling and irritation I tried using the product again a week later after her abscess was completely gone, but I noticed the same irritation and redness. The swelling has returned. I knew it had to be the product that had irritated her skin. Her skin had returned to its original color. Overnight, the swelling subsided. br>br>I strongly discourage you from purchasing this item. I'm dissatisfied to say the least. Granted, the label does state that if irritation, redness, or swelling occurs, you should consult a veterinarian, so that's a good thing. I just wish I hadn't purchased this item because it was a complete waste of money.
