Yes, but it won't help if the puppy licks it off right away. Instead of the balm, I put peanut butter behind my dog's front teeth to give him something to chew on. These products come highly recommended by me!
Because of their oily nature, our balms will make your dog's paws slick at first. However, as the paw heals, you'll notice that it has a better grip on smooth floors.

Yes, I use it on my puppy French bulldog. I use it after baths, as well as before and after going outside.

Wow, guys, this isn't a joke. I have a French bulldog who has been on apoquel for the past few years after developing some bizarre late-life allergies, and she gets these horrible bumpy, hot rashes that ooze and crust over at times. My adorable puppy turned into a crusty mutt overnight, and the vet couldn't do anything. When I was frustrated, some well-targeted Facebook advertising showed me this product, and after finding it on Amazon and knowing I could return it, I bought it and tested the results. My dog's red inflamed, bumpy, oozing armpit has now lost all redness and is even growing hair again after only one day. Because my pups are brindle, it's difficult to get good pictures, but I can assure you that this stuff works. From the skin soother (which was what helped her with her nasty-looking skin), asty armpit) to the paw soother and protection that has provided her with nice soft puppy pads Initially terrified of the product, my dog realized it worked one day and will literally roll over for it. She's genuinely excited to get it because she knows how good it feels. Highly HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALLERGY SUFFERING DOGS. The wrinkle cream and nose balm, as well as the rest of the products, have really made my dog shine (and smell great). I'm glad I took a chance on a product that Frenchie recommended.
I was able to see the results after giving it another try morning and night, then moving to once a day, and that's what matters most consistency! It's a great way to try out all of the products. I can't vouch for anything other than the nose balm because I didn't need or want to try the other items. But next time, I'll just get the nose balm!.
When I was looking for a way to treat my pug's paw, it caught my eye. I was looking for a solution that didn't require a trip to the vet because it was irritated and red. I used a combination of coconut oil and pet store hot spot spray. Then I came across this sample pack, which I am extremely grateful for! His paw is almost completely healed, and he no longer appears to be in pain. He hasn't licked in a long time. br>br>On him, I used Paw Soother and Skin Soother in combination. I'm glad I have the other balms on hand; I've already recommended this product and will purchase it again.
My dog's paws were bright red. His paws were infected with yeast, as it turned out. He'd chew and lick them until they were completely soaked in blood. This was detrimental to it and exacerbated the situation. As soon as I could find a store, I purchased antifungal dog shampoo and hydrocortisone spray. If your dog is experiencing similar issues, search for "yeast infection in dogs paws. ".
I was hoping these would help my haired chihuahua with a variety of health issues. I'm not sure if I've used these enough to say whether or not they've helped, but here are my initial thoughts: br>Snout is a term used to describe a person who has a snout This one appears to be the most effective; my dog's nose produces too much keratin, and this appears to keep it balanced and hydrated if it is peeling.
Skin- This is something I tried to see if it would help her stop licking her front legs obsessively. This is not the case. I was hoping it would moisturize, soothe, or deter by taste, but I haven't noticed any difference. When I try to apply it, it comes off in chunks, so it's possible it's not designed for dogs with long hair. I also believe that the product is quickly consumed, which means that if you have a medium or large breed dog, it would be gone in no time.
Paws- Both the obsessive licking and the over-licking were things I tried. Keratin is a protein that is produced in the body. I couldn't tell a difference and experienced the same problems as with the Skin product. br>Packaging- This was by far the most serious of the offenses. The identifying sticker was applied to the cap as well, making it impossible to remove the cap without peeling down the label. When this happens, the applicators become unattractive. I'd remove all of the labels, but then I'd have no idea which one was which. To be honest, they all seemed to have similar properties, so it might not make a difference which one you use. br>They all have a pleasant scent to them, and none of them have caused any adverse reactions. I'll keep using them until they're gone, but I doubt I'll reorder them (perhaps with a different applicator for the nose).
These products are fantastic for my dog; I have a pit bull with skin allergies, and this helps heal his rashes and soothe his skin so he doesn't scratch as much. I will definitely purchase these products again.
We go on a lot of adventures together, my dog and I. He was getting a little rough on his paw pads. I didn't want to have to buy him boots and socks because she prefers to walk around with me naked. I like the ingredients, but the protector needs to be reapplied on a regular basis. It's extremely flimsy. I expected a balm that was thicker and almost waxier. Protector is similar to Burt's Bees chapstick in consistency, which is fine, but it wears off too quickly. When we're out on the water, it's great, but when we're out in the city, it's not so great. br>Both the paw and snout balms are excellent. I didn't need to use the skin protectant, and I gave the wrinkle cream to a friend who has a Frenchie.
We've only had these products for a short time. I ordered the small sample sizes to ensure that they worked properly before ordering larger sizes. I have to say, in at least four of the balms I've tried so far, I've seen immediate results. The products were highly recommended by the bulldog community, and I was extremely impressed. My personal favorites include the Wrinkle Balm, Paw Soother, and Snout Soother. Come the winter, they'll be a must-have!.
