To begin, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to Betty. Allow me to state that this product has proven to be extremely beneficial to my dogs. I have a beagle who consumes an entire capsule, and we also have a 17-pound beagle/Doxie. He is given half of a capsule. For him, I break open a capsule and place it in a Tupperware tiny pill container, using a full 1/8 teaspoon with my measuring spoons. and store the rest in a Tupperware container to keep it fresh. (Keep in mind.) Because not all measuring spoons are created equal, experiment with different ones to figure out how to measure 1/2 capsule. If you have any questions about this supplement, please contact Chris, the veterinarian who created it and owns the company. Friendly and approachable. I hope this information is useful.

Hello! br>br>Mixing the capsules (or powder from within the capsule) with food is an excellent way to help your pet get used to it. It is completely inappropriate to say to someone, "The ingredients are listed on the website." The purpose of posing that question is to receive a response - not a snide remark implying that the person who asked is 'lazy.' FFS. I, like THOUSANDS OF OTHER AMAZON CUSTOMERS, SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE TO FIND OUT WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE IN THIS FREAKING PRODUCT, nor should we have to deal with some wiseass who feels compelled to give a useless answer to a perfectly valid question. Protip: You should probably not answer at all if you don't know the answer to a very basic, simple question. The manufacturer, as well as the seller on this listing, were completely negligent in failing to list the ingredients anywhere in the description. It's not listed under "INGREDIENTS" in the written portion, and there's no picture of the box in the product listing (so, hey, 'Edogayla'). There is no such thing as a 'one of the pictures that you can click' - You, too, are mistaken). The seller must correctly list this item, and anyone responding to this question MUST HAVE THE ANSWER rather than snark.

Because it contains amylase, lipase, and protease, I believe it saved my furry friend's life. My cat's survival was feared by two veterinarians, the first of whom diagnosed him with pancreatitis and prescribed a probiotic. He became sicker before I could purchase it, and a second veterinarian diagnosed him with a megacolon. Microflora Plus by Herbsmith was purchased in a now-defunct Herbsmith store. The local pet store has closed. The last box was purchased by me. It was the only one of its kind and brand. It was thankfully stated that it could be used by both cats and dogs (half a capsule). Prior to this, he had been vomiting at least once a day for years and had also developed other GI issues. He's a much happier person now, thanks to some other changes. While I can't say for sure what role any of the individual items played in quickly turning his life around, I believe this was a key component. br>I'm happier, too: He's a lot nicer now, and there's no more cat barf on the floor! br>br>IMPORTANT NOTE: When I needed more, I looked for a similar item that was less expensive. ***This was the only probiotic option I could find that listed amylase, lipase, and protease as ingredients*** after a LONG search. Those are the enzymes that are relevant for pancreatitis, according to my personal experience. Given that a single capsule lasts twice as long as the number of capsules in the box, this compares favorably in terms of cost. Unless someone has difficulty with the motor skills involved, opening the capsules, sprinkling out half, and saving the rest is a very quick and insignificant amount of effort. br>br>In case you didn't know, Cinnamon is the scent. My cat didn't mind the taste; if the capsules have dissolved in his food, he eats them; if they are dry on the surface of his food, he doesn't.
He has yeast flare-ups, which cause chronic ear infections in one ear and red, puffy, and irritated skin between his toes. I went to the vet, and they recommended that I keep him on antibiotics and give him injections that would help with his symptoms but not cure him, and would also harm his immune system. I chose to refuse it because his condition isn't severe, and I take care of him with zymox for his ear, high-quality, low-glycemic-index food with little starch (and sugar), and natural supplements like apple cider vinegar and fish oil. However, since yeast is controlled by food and digestion, I looked into natural pro and prebiotics to get him to zero. I looked at a lot of different brands and formulas before settling on this one because it contains probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes, and herbs all in one, plus it has a great list of ingredients and amounts, and the price is great for the quality. He's been on it for a week, and so far there's been less irritation on his feet and in his ear, his coat appears to be healthier, and I'm seeing a difference overall. I'm very pleased with this product, and I believe it is precisely what he required to aid his digestion. I give him one in the morning and one in the evening with his food, and I mix a little canned food or raw egg with shell into his kibble to help'mask' it, and he devours it. This is a fantastic product that I wholeheartedly endorse.
I also have another pug who has always had very mucousy BMs, so I decided to give it a shot. WOW. I'd say my dogs have really good-looking poops if such a thing existed. This keeps everything in place! And I haven't seen mucus since I started using it, which is a miracle considering she had it on a regular basis for the previous five years. And their food appears to be better digested, as I don't see as many full-formed items in their stools, such as carrots. I did a lot of research before settling on what my dogwalker recommended, mostly to familiarize myself with the concept of a dog probiotic. And I noticed that when I searched Amazon for this, it did not come up. To locate the product, I had to type in its name. So, I guess it isn't as "well-known" as other brands. However, I believe it is deserving of some attention. This is something I'll keep doing. It has no effect on the gut and they are completely unaware that it is present. I mix it in with their food, which is not kibble but petfresh logs (which, for what it's worth, I also highly recommend).
I wasn't sure what was causing the problem at the time, so I waited a few weeks before trying again. When I sprinkled a small amount on both of my dogs' food the second time, they both vomited and were constipated for three days. 4 days. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm not going to use this product on my dogs again. After reading all of the positive reviews, I was expecting a lot more.
I've used Herbsmith before and was impressed with how well their Allerqi helped my Bulldog cope with his seasonal allergies. We feed a probiotic to our Bully mix and have been using a digestive enzyme as well. I was looking for a new probiotic and noticed that Herbsmoth had one that included both a probiotic and a digestive enzyme. I did some research and read some reviews before making my decision. I purchased because I am confident in this product. My Bully fell ill after two doses. He puked and spent the rest of the night licking his chops and smacking his lips. I'm never going to buy another Herbsmith product.
Despite feeding Orijen's highest-calorie food, my German Shepherd had a borderline case of EPI and was underweight. Instead of supplementing with enzymes, I decided to try these digestive aids. Since we started adding this to his food, he has gained 11 pounds. I recommend incubating the product in a slightly-warm environment. To ensure complete absorption, warm the pumpkin before adding it to your dog's regular food. br>br>A note on the EPI: Other breeds are susceptible to this condition, but GSDs are the most common. If your dog has been underweight for a long time despite consuming a lot of food, you should consult a veterinarian. Please ask your veterinarian to test for the condition if you are eating high-quality food. Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency is a condition in which the exocrine pancreas does not function properly. EPI4dogs. com is a great place to learn more about this condition.
