I am using a different type of toothpaste and gel. It would have been better if I had persevered It wasn't a problem for my two Yorkies The reason I changed things up was because I wanted something new. Mama, you have a terrible idea! The two of them wouldn't even let me near them when I tried using this one. It takes me a few minutes for them to sniff the paste and brush before I put it in The two of them turned it down. So I don't blame them at all There is no way that it smells There is nothing even close to the smell of peanuts. The other will be my next stop.

Even though our "baby" is two, his teeth are still in excellent condition. It cost in the neighborhood of $700 to take our six-year-old dog to get his teeth cleaned 3 years ago (after all the costs, he just has a tiny bit of tartar in one spot that he is resistant to letting me brush). A vet told us years ago that enzymatic toothpaste is meant to reduce plaque for some time following brushing. This is why I like it too since it's an enzymatic toothpaste. Though I am not sure if this is true, at least the There are many benefits to using toothpaste instead of having the vet do a cleaning for your dog, and it is enjoyable for both of you.

My favorite toothpaste would be one with enzymes that prevent/reduce tartar. I buy a different kind with enzymes every day and switch them out every few days. Both me and the dogs don't love brushing, but it's necessary, so if they like the flavor, it will make them more inclined to brush.

There was a green gel at the bottom that smelled more like mint than peanut butter. As I expected, the consistency would be similar to the poultry flavor's creamy tan color. It is now the poultry flavor once again.

Because I have a lot of dogs, I probably go through a lot of toothpaste. I purchased this brand on a whim and both dogs and humans seem to like Though it states that it is flavored with peanuts, I did not notice a distinct nutty scent. Obviously, I am not in the position to comment on its taste. I found its scent pleasant and somewhat herbal. In my book, this is one of the major advantages because sometimes the scent of dog toothpaste is intolerable. We will buy again for sure.
