An ideal choice for dogs who have an undercoat or tend to mat

This is one of my favorite blades. With this, I have been able to groom my oldest goldendoodle like never before. Because of her stubborn undercoat and tendency to get matted, she gets extremely matted It was essentially useless to use the 10 blade that came with the clippers. Although my 3 3/4 blade worked decently, I still struggled to fit it in and get it to fit. It glides easily through her coat like butter and gives it a nice final touch. There was once a 4 hour procedure of bathing, brushing, and grooming that took place. We're now probably an hour and a half into the process. **Our younger goldendoodle has super low maintenance hair (and by some miracle, no undercoat!! ), and while I'm sure this would work fine, I highly recommend the 3 3/4 inch. This is the ideal length for those of you who like their doodles with a little bit of fluff, but not too much.

This advice is great and saves us a great deal of The clippers weren't her cup of tea because she didn't like clipping our dog's nails. Although she has never grownled or shown any sign of fear, she was terrified of her.
