Questions & Answers

The blades are the same, but what's the difference? Can you tell me how long the cut is? It's difficult to know what to order when you don't know what you want. ?

Shorter will be the cut if the number is higher. The hair of a 7 is slightly longer than that of a 10, but not as long as that of There are more groomers who use a 7 blade than any other.

How will this blade work together with an Andis AGC Super 2 Can you please tell me more about the Speed Professional Animal Clipper?

In short, yes. It is the clipper I use, and I have the blade and I am very happy with it.

The hair of my Siberian cat is matted badly, how large should I cut its blade?

Thanks for your interest in my services. I have been grooming for 45 years. In the event that there is no alternative to a 10 blade ceramic saw, I will use it. Keep away from the #7 blade because it isn't called a There is nothing more paper-like than cat skin It is so thin and easy to cut and It is highly recommended that you use a new blade and a #10 (or 15 if super matted) would be better than a

Does oiling ceramic blades still have to be done?

And you need to use a brush to clean them as well. A little wear makes them last a little longer. Whenever I use them, I oil them first and then after cleaning them.

We have both standard poodles and giant schnoodles
5/5

The 5 standard poodles in my family and a giant schnoodle (giant panda/standard poodle mix) are my favorite pets. Dog clippers and a grooming table are the tools I use to groom my dogs at home, not for shows. When I used a shorter blade, my giant Schnoodle would get itchy bumps (known as schnauzer bumps). I read that long blades wouldn't irritate her skin, and that groomers used 8 1/2 blades to prevent the bumps from occurring. As a convenience, I'm just going ahead and grooming my whole "herd" with the 8 1/2". It's very easy for one of my standard poodles to get razor burn, but the 8 1/2 blade works very well for her. Every so often, I shuffle through 6 blades as they warm up. Taking scissors to the poodles' heads, I cut the top of their heads off. As a result, I try to only use clippers whenever possible. I have accidentally cut my fingers twice with scissors. A pair of scissors can take a big bite out of something. The wound needs stitches or staples to heal, but clippers can only nick the skin. To ensure the blades last a long time, I soak them in H-E-B after every haircut (ordered from Amazon) 42 O- The stuff 42 is, in my opinion, miracle stuff. This method keeps the blades sharp, keeps the skin on your dog as well as dog oil and dirt off the blade, and extends the blades life. It saves me money (6 blades are around $150, so I want to make sure they are safe to use).

There is no such difference in teeth strength between the Ultimate edge blades and these one
3/5

It didn't last more than a few days before they broke. A lack of steel strength is evident. Low stars are the result of this. I got a great cut out of it. However, she says the teeth of these blades are not as strong as my Ultimate edge blades, which have lasted me over a decade. As a result, all three knives are no longer as sharp as they used to be. The blades on my razors are carefully handled by me. However, all three of the new blades broke off during the first few days of use. Therefore, I no longer can use these blades. It is feared that the skin may be nicked. tried to send a review from my phone but it did not save. As a result, I am again posting my displeasure with the strength of my 3 blades today. Has the batch been tampered with? My blade of choice will be the Ultimate edge blades for the time being.

My favorite thing about the blade is how sharp it is
5/5

The hair on my dogs is just a matter of personal taste and I am not a professional. Mixing a husky and a poodle makes for a happy and healthy dog. As I used a Walh clipper to cut the hair, it was difficult for it to cut finely. It is much easier to use these blades. It seems that the heat is causing a problem - In addition to lubricating frequently, I change my blades on a regular basis. On the paws, I use the seven numbers on the body, I use the five numbers. As compared to ceramic blades, the ten that came with the Andis clippers do not appear to cut as well. I might have had a problem because I only tested them in my The sizes are so confusing, so I attached pics to show what the sizes look like. plan on getting a #3or4 for the body this winter. This is my dog last seen in the picture. Last week I cut off his hind leg with the seven blades, and I cut off the rest of his body with the five blades. If you look closely, you may see the lengths of the cuts.

I am disappointed
3/5

With an AGC2, I can cut a wide array of shapes. The two Standard Poodles I own are groomed by me. As I have a regular Ultra Edge 10 blade which gets very hot when in use, I wanted to purchase a second 10 blade so I could alternate without having to pause to allow the blade to cool. Since I was very happy with the pet food dispenser from PetSmart, I opted for the ceramic version here instead As soon as it was used, it became very slow. I was cutting an area with the metal 10, then switched to this and it wasn't cutting in 2 or 3 passes and ripping the hair off. I noticed that the blade has a lot more hair under the blade than usual when I cleaned it. There are no guarantees that the item I got was a defective one, a counterfeit item, or something else. The return window didn't open until the end of the week so I let it expire. In all fairness, I should have returned it but returns are generally a hassle so I let it expire. Trying it every once in a while doesn't do anything for me. My next pet will probably be from the local pet store if I can afford the extra money.

It would be great if it worked with attachment combs, but it doesn't
5/5

My Easy Clip Groom Detachable Blade Clippers are in good condition This is the only blade that is able to clip the wool of my angora rabbits since it fits perfect and works very well! *Please take note that these blades will not work with the attachment combs that come with my clippers and possibly many others even though they say they are As the blade for the 40 is so short, it WILL seriously cut the skin, so we recommend that you never use it without a guard. The Andis 9- turned out to be the perfect choice for me Set of 3 small combs (Item No. They are 12860) and they fit perfectly In spite of this, I did not reduce the stars, because the product itself is great!.

My poodle's hair becomes smooth as butter as I use it. Faster grooming time with this blade. I used it to cut her body and didn't have to go over it a bunch of times like with.

This is junk

It doesn't seem there is You are right to trust your instincts, which are based in common sense. What makes ceramic such a good blade material as opposed to steel or carbon steel? Answer is a common sense one. The problem can't be solved I will never do that! My guess would be that anyone who thinks that a ceramic blade is a great cutting tool is lying, or that they have never tried a steel blade? sometimes I make a costly error and believe people, and let hard earned money go to waste, just for the sake of trying something new. It's the kind of garbage that gives the greatest economic system in the world its other name, I'm sure I'll do it again and you'll do it again sadly, it's the worst kind of garbage It is a form of "crony capitalism. ". You don't need to waste your time and money on a product that cannot do what it claims to do, or just give up in frustration saying it is what it claims to be. " Honestly, if these are so good, they must be incredible! The ten times better versions are supposedly worth ten times more! We create things that are far more advanced than our ancestors did a few decades ago, so why aren't they cheaper? Isn't that obvious? okay, we'll all get our just reward sooner rather than later (including liars). Don't put your faith in this garbage, no matter how creatively trusting a reviewer seems.
