Questions & Answers

neutered a Saluki and he has developed a fuzzy coat. Can you get rid of the fuzz if you do this?

In short, yes. My Scottish Terrier is used to remove the soft undercoat from my dog. In my opinion, it is a good program. A saluki should be able to use this.

If the blades need to be sharpened, can they be Can you tell me where I can find replacement blades?

Here is a link to Amazon, where replacement blades are available. Mars Coat King Spare Blades can be found by searching the Internet. I appreciate your kind words.

Which Mars Coat King would you recommend for an exotic shorthair cat or Persian cat?

My chocolate lab was really attracted to the Mars Coat King at the beginning but it removed too much hair. A large portion of her chocolate was removed from her lower back with this method. There are still tans on her lower back, so she didn't lose all of her hair. Even though it would be nice to brush them twice a week, I think it would be more practical. I combed her every day, so I overused it to the point of total overuse. Her color change was my fault. I should have stopped the moment I saw it.

The First Product Review I wrote impressed me enough to warrant a second
5/5

Reviewers agree that the Mars 10 is one of the best There is no grooming tool I've never known I needed as much as Blade Coat King. Our dog Annie came to us a couple of years ago and we are still not sure what breed she is. The vet initially suggested "Hungarian Vizsla mix" with wire-haired coat. In an internet search, it was discovered that these dogs are groomed with hand-stripping to maintain a clean coat. It used to be that I would brush her with a Spornette boar bristle brush.

This is amazing! There was some concern in my mind if it would be too much pulling on my Newfie and if she would try to get away from me by yanking or pulling her fur
5/5

The first few strokes were a bit pulling, but I soon learned to control her more, so she let me use this stripper. My previous brushes were not as good as this one, and I wish I had found it sooner. The groomer takes her once a month, but thanks to the Zoey bath, I can bathe her at home and the pre-washer is the perfect way to prepare her for the grooming The first time I used it, it had already paid for itself. I use a groomer every other month, so it already paid for itself. If you do not want to see "Stipping" on your newfie, don't be. It looks so beautiful after the first few uses.

I am so impressed! Since I have been grooming my English Springer Spaniel for the last two years, I have avoided this purchase
5/5

$40 for a dog comb did not appeal to me, so I chose not to purchase it. let me tell you. When I seemed to trim my dog's 2nd tail he seemed to be in pain With Wahl Clippers! You only need to use them three times a year! However, after two years, I had to purchase a new set of clippers! In the end, I broke down and purchased the item. My springer was extremely well trimmed with the Mars comb, and I was amazed at how great of a job it did. This is the amount of plastic grocery store bags I filled! Her needs were met by this comb, but I knew she needed grooming. The past few weeks, I've used it on her about once every two weeks. It seemed to me that she might be missing her undercoat in this cold weather. The snow was so thick that she was chewing on a ham bone in the snow, so I had to call her in. The dog comb is so much more enjoyable than having to drag out the Wahl Clippers whenever I need to clip his nails. The cost of using this comb is worth the small amount you will save on 'time' and 'money'!.

If you have a dog with a dual coat and wire hair, this tool is a MUST! It's true that I was skeptical of this product after reading the reviews, even though it seems highly rated
5/5

My dog is wire-haired and belongs to my family. In order for his coat to look nice, it had to be stripped by hand. It was not only hateful to him, but also to me! His dislike of brushing goes as far as not liking being brushed at all. I decided to bite the bullet and take a chance after reading the reviews that specifically pertain to wire haired, dual coated dogs. It was the best thing I ever After using it for the first time, I was blown away by how much hair he got out of it and how neat and tidy his hair looks. He not only looks neat and trim, but he also seems to have a healthy appetite. This was very well received by him! This was actually a fun experience for him! Only regret is I didn't think to take "before" and "after" pictures of the area. I will take photos and update my review next time I use it.

It's the best thing I've ever done I do not know what I would do without my Cairn Terrier
5/5

Due to the fact that I did not want him to be groomed, I took a chance on this device I have heard good things about. I was definitely not disappointed. A thin coat of wiry hair was kept in place instead of the undercoat.

The hand held device is very safe and works well
5/5

It is designed to last a lifetime. OMG, Coat Brussels Griffon is still shedding out the old coat, it took her 3 years to blow her coat, so now that she is 3 1/2 she is ready for the new coat to grow in. It took tons of hair in no time and no pain for her. I did it more easily than her. As a licensed professional groomer, I can assure you that this device is well worth every penny. I really do love how it does not take more hair out than is ready to shed, so bald spots are avoided. You are on top of the world here. This is a worthwhile purchase that is worth every penny. I'm very impressed with the quality. MARSIS a very good company to work for. Due to the price being the same as Mars and the fact that I am an Amazon member, I chose to make the purchase on Amazon. As well as Amazon, I like the service. I plan to continue to be a member as long as Amazon is around. My girl is small and has a thick coat, so I bought the 3o blade. The product is made perfectly and I have even used it on my bare skin without feeling any pain or cutting. It is so hard to describe how much I love my girlfriend. My only goal is to provide her with the best. One hundred and ten percent of the stars are 5.

The best of all time
5/5

Let me start by saying I have a husky and thought the Furminator was an excellent brush, but this thing blows it out of the water! There is nothing fancy about it, but boy does it do the job. It can be a little confusing when it comes to using it to the fullest extent if you don't know how to use it. Thanks to someone who showed me before I bought it, I had no problems. It won't accomplish anything if you just gently drag it along the thick fur of your dog. As if you were in a brush race, you have to brush with quickly and deeply digging strokes, almost like you're having to speed. lol, this is off. I apologize. I can only explain it in that way. You'll be able to use it to brush your dog like no other!.
