I have a Great Pyrenees. The brush gets down deep into his fur and brushes out everything, which is important as he is prone to matting at the deepest spots. It is such a heavy duty brush, and now he looks so much better than before.

The slicker brush he was using is being retired! I was also allowed to touch more areas of his body and face I am allowed to kiss his tail, which he normally will not allow. It may be regarded as a Goldendoodle, but he has a Poodle coat! The brush is awesome! I recommend it!.

I have a hard time brushing her hair. The two of us used to get sweaty and tired after I wrangled her to brush her, but that is no longer the case. There do not appear to be any issues with pulling her hair or irritating her in any way with the soft bristles. My brushing of her literally involves her lying down. I can't believe what I'm seeing!.

This is not a good detangler

Because my Golden Retriever's dense coat makes it impossible to penetrate this brush, I will be unable to use it. The fabric was unable to remove stickers from her coat, nor was it able to unravel. The pins of the brush are too soft, which is why the brush is brittle. As my dog's coat has a thin layer, they bend about halfway up and can't reach deeper than that. It may be suitable for dogs with short hair, although I am not sure. In the case of longer haired breeds, it is a waste of money.

Until recently, my Australian Shepherd needed a lot of brushing because of his sensitive skin. It's a pain to brush him, too. Despite this brush not being painful for his skin, he tolerates it well. When I purchased it for him, I bought him a pink bag so it would stand out, but my 3 daughters and myself loved it so much, we used it all the time. As such, I purchased this shirt that has little doggies on it because it was for him. We brush him anyway when we bring it out because he flees as soon as he sees it.

The brushing of my border collie mix is extremely painful for her. Trying to brush him a couple of times with a furminator brush was too harsh for his skin, and he snapped at me each time. This brush is my favorite for brushing my teeth every day. It seems to be more enjoyable than her slicker brush for my dog. You do not want to do this if you are looking for mats from a poodle or doodle. This is a nice brush to use for daily maintenance, but you'll need a good slicker brush for tougher cleaning jobs. Since my dog isn't matted, I cannot say for sure that this won't take care of matted hair, but this is a plastic brush with a plastic handle, and I feel that you need something a little stronger to tackle matting. It is my go-to brush for everyday brushing, and my dog loves it too.

The fact that there is a wet dog brush was exciting to me as I already own several wet brushes for humans. The 90lb golden doodle I have doesn't like to be brushed, so I figured getting this would be a good Unfortunately, this product arrived much smaller than the description said, even though it's meant for large breeds of dogs.
