Questions & Answers

Is it possible to groom a dog that is completely dry with this brush? Is shedding fur still pulled out?

I've only used it to groom my dog when he's been out of the water. My dog has short hair, and I've been able to keep his shedding fur under control using this method. Brush in circles to loosen the shedding fur, then clump it up by brushing from head to tail.

Is this a regular brush and not a puppy brush?

It fits in the palm of my hand and is used on my adult American bulldog. He has short hair and a lot of shedding. The zoomgroom is a fantastic tool.

Has anyone tried this on a larger dog? (I have a 95-pound German Shepherd who is currently shedding profusely!) ?

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Yes. This is something I recommend to my grooming clients for their German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois.

There's Only One Ingredient in My Secret Formula to Stop Shedding! Our sweet yellow lab sheds a lot
5/5

Her hair was all over the place in our house! We tried a variety of treatments, but her fur still seemed to have its own life. br> At long last, I've figured it out! My 3-point plan is as follows: Every step in this Step Secret requires a ZoomGroom. br>First, take a look at what you're going to do. I quickly brush our lab while holding a ZoomGoom in each hand. br>Step 2: Organize your materials. I give her a bath and use the ZoomGroom to work the shampoo through her hair. br>Step 3: Organize your information. After her bath, I use the ZoomGroom to brush out any loose hairs, followed by a Furminator-style brush. br>Each day, I brush her with the ZoomGroom for maintenance. I use a de-greaser every now and then. Using the ZoomGroom, I sprayed shedding spray into her coat.
Pros: br>ZoomGroom is an effective grooming tool. br>Our dog enjoys having his coat brushed! br>ZoomGroom's hair is so thick that we could probably make a sweater out of it! br>It can be used on both wet and dry fur. br>It's a long-lasting product! br>Washing instructions included! br>When I use two ZoomGrooms at the same time, I get a great workout!
Cons: br>ZoomGroom is so effective that it will quickly become overrun with hair. It can be difficult to get the hair out. The majority of the hair comes out when you hit it against the floor.

It's especially effective on fur that's about a foot long
5/5

My Dog, on the other hand, says: The wire brush, bristle brush, and stainless comb are all present in the grooming box. KONG ZoomGroom Dog Grooming Brush, and more recently, the KONG ZoomGroom Dog Grooming Brush. My 3/4 Border Collie has a medium coat that is beginning to shed. When I read the reviews, I noticed that many of the reviewers had shorter furry friends than I do, so I was curious about how well this would work on my BC. I'm happy to report that the dog and I both adore it; it works well both wet (to suds her up in the shower and then brush her out) and dry, and it's a grooming tool she looks forward to using on a daily basis! She waits for me to take out the 'Zoomy' when I'm near the grooming box of tools; ) The 'bristles' (nubs) are firm enough to pierce her fur and pick up a lot of loose fur and dirt, but soft enough to make her feel pampered and content. If you're looking for a grooming tool that both you and your pet will enjoy, look no further. especially if they need to be brushed every day or nearly every day - ZoomGroom is something I would strongly recommend. The BLUE Zoom Groom is approx. br>br>For those interested in the specifications, the BLUE Zoom Groom is approx. 5" in length, 3" in width, and 1" in height At its thickest point, it measures 1/2 inch thick. Both in the hand and on the dog, it is extremely comfortable. Some people wanted a closer look at the bottom and to see how far apart/long the nubs are, so I snapped a few photos. As a scale, I used a dime.

Great Danes will love it
5/5

For my Great Dane, this has been a huge help. Many breeds, particularly those with short fur, would benefit greatly from this. I tried a lot of different things - My husband's soft bristle hair brush (! ), the Furminator, a curry brush, a shedding blade, and even the Furminator (! ) to try to keep her fur under control, and it's the only thing that works. It wasn't worth the effort to run it over her coat because the others had removed so little fur. br>br>For weeks, my Great Dane girl has been shedding in unimaginable amounts - I used to believe that short-haired dogs shed very little, but every time I give her a hug, she sheds a lot. There's a lot of fur left over from the rubs. br>br>My preferred method is to spritz a skin conditioner (such as Shea Pet) on my face and rub it in. Allow to dry before brushing with this Zoom Groom. The fur flies are a type of fly that flies in the fur of animals. to say the least. And when I'm finished, her coat is particularly shiny and soft. br>br>The first photo was taken the first time I stroked her. The last two photos were taken after I brushed her for the second time. It's easy to see how the fur simply falls away. Note: Because this is a messy activity, it's best to do it in an open area. it's much easier to get up.

For both the dog and the cat, I am extremely pleased
5/5

I used it in conjunction with my FURminator, and they both worked perfectly. However, I purchased it because I thought the FURminator was too easy to abuse. I let a family member use it on my dog, and I discovered tiny scabs all over his neck from the prongs a few days later. The ZoomGroom is fantastic, and my dog enjoys the sensation. I also used it on my cat, who purred for over an hour while I brushed her. br>I used the ZoomGroom on my dog's entire body and in places where I didn't feel comfortable using the FURminator, such as his head, because I knew it would hurt; the ZoomGroom gets almost all of the hair, but the FURminator gets my dog's fluffy undercoat around his neck, shoulders, and black legs much better. br>I think this is still a good product for people who have a dog with a soft fluffy coat, but I recommend investing in something like the FURminator to finish things off because it makes a huge difference. br>Overall, a good product that I enjoy using and will continue to do so. People who claim that this isn't a good toy when combined with a grooming brush should use their common sense. Although it says toy at the end of the title, there is no mention of "use as toy as well" in the details or description. "It's a slightly firm but malleable hunk of plastic, so it won't make a good chew toy. " So, instead of getting chewed to death, take a few extra seconds to put it away. It's important to keep it.

Friendly to the pit! I have three pitbulls, and they all loved the feel of this product
5/5

I will admit that most of the hair doesn't stay on it, but I simply sweep it up at the end. I have two pitbulls with a rougher coat, and one with a very fine silky coat, and it works wonders on the two with the rougher coat. I didn't get the same result with the silkier coat, but that could be because she doesn't shed as much as them, I'm not But, overall, I'm pleased with the results and would strongly suggest this product to anyone.

The most effective grooming and shedding tool ever! My two labs shed all year, but now that it's summer, they're shedding like crazy
5/5

Especially my yellow one, which is 13 years old. Her short hair did not respond to regular brushing. And the poor dog was sweltering from all the extra fur. This worked perfectly! She had to shave off the hair of another dog. The hairs stuck to the brush or sat on top of her, making it easy to brush them off with your hand, and the hairs in the brush easily fell out when it was tapped on the floor. This is something I would highly recommend!.
