Zoom is a fantastic groomer. It was recommended to us by the groomer of our other dog. Other combs that remove loose hair also cut growing hair, which is not ideal for certain breeds. This brush is better suited for our Shepski's hair. It may appear to be a child's toy, but it actually works, especially when he blows his coat. We strongly advise you to do so.
This groomer came with a conair grooming comb, which I bought for my German Shepherd because it was suggested that I finish grooming with the comb after using the groomer. It cleans up loose fir extremely well. However, I noticed that the King groomer didn't bother my boy and that it seemed to soothe him, so I bought another for our 14-year-old neighbor's dog. She has sore hips and appears to be averse to being touched excessively. Grooming appears to be a gentle massage with this groomer's rubber "fingers. " It does a good job, and her neighbors have commented that she appears to enjoy it.
KONG Zoom Groom is a multi-purpose grooming tool that comes in a variety of Use Dog Brush Pink (well, actually, it's blue) seems to relax my dogs, and they seem to enjoy it when I use it. If you're not a groomer, this will last a long time if you use it on a regular basis on your short-haired pet. If you work as a groomer, this is the best purchase you can make.
I use it to bathe my short-haired dogs, and they love it! The bumpy side feels like it's massaging them, and the smooth side really helps remove loose hair during bathing, so I'm sweeping up a lot less in the house! This is a product that I would recommend!.
My groomer recommended this product because my dog likes the feel of it, it doesn't "scratch" his skin and cause dandruff, and it removes a lot of fur in one brushing.
On dogs with short, coarse hair, this brush is a dream to use. This brush is a favorite of our Jack Russel, who will sit and be brushed for hours. He's white, and the first time we brush him, it looked like it had snowed! I would strongly suggest it.
