I have a three-year-old beagle, and I only lightly brush her with it. It's not something she enjoys. My husband claims it's because it's too difficult, but I wouldn't recommend it for a dog of that age with health issues.
It should be fine for the little darling, in my opinion. My lovely long-haired lady Haired kitty despises being groomed, but since she is incapable of doing so herself - What a slacker! It's something I feel obligated to do for her. She's calmer now when I brush her with this brush because it's so gentle. It also detangles and removes clumps effectively. It appeals to me greatly.
Personally, I haven't given it a shot. However, because the bristles are short and thin, I believe it would work just fine. It ought to be gentle enough.
I'm not sure; I'm not sure what I'm talking about. It's what I use to detangle my dog's hair.

The brush is attractive, with a good design, and I believe it would be very effective in deshedding your dog. I gave it four stars because I purchased it to help with matting in a non-shedding dog. When I received the item, it clearly stated that it should not be used on a non-shedding dog. There isn't anything wrong with the item, but if it's important enough to put on the label, it should also be in the description on a mail-order item. It's not expensive enough to return or make a big deal about; it's just something to keep in mind.
It was a little smaller than I had hoped, but it was a good deal. On a husky, it's also quite effective.
I rely on reviews and ratings to help me choose items for my new puppy as a new dog owner. Because of the numerous positive reviews, I chose this item. When I first got it, I couldn't wait to try it. My dog, on the other hand, appeared to be fine at first, but then backed away as if he was in pain. After that, I carefully examined the brush and discovered one of the bristles was bent and the tip's coating was missing. I removed it and resumed brushing after realizing how horrible that must have felt. I couldn't figure out why my puppy was pulling away again, and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I scratched my forearm after rubbing the brush against my skin. I immediately felt bad for brushing my puppy like that. The metal bristles are not strong or well-coated, making them uncomfortable to use. Apart from the appealing color, I couldn't think of anything good to say about this brush.
I've tried a few different de-stressing techniques. It wasn't enough to take down the fur that would otherwise shed on my pomsky (Husky/Pomeranian mix), so I used shedding tools. This brush is incredibly effective! I was able to get a lot done in a short amount of time. And, unlike other deodorants, this does not harm my dog. removing the tools After using this on my dog every day, or even a few times a week, he sheds significantly less.
For my shih tzu, it's perfect! I got the large and it's perfect; brushing is much faster with this brush.
These are my favorite brushes, as well as the Yorkies'! We've bought a lot of different kinds, but we won't need to buy any more because these are the best! I strongly advise:.
I tried a different type (the purple one in the photo) first, and she only wanted to bite it. The amount of fur removed with this slicker brush was significantly greater than with the other. When I begin brushing her, she falls to the ground and rolls onto her back, allowing me to brush her chest and stomach. She doesn't like it when people pet her in those two spots, but she'll let me use the brush. This product has made my cat and me extremely happy!.
I've been using it on my tiny 1 for a while now. I have a 5 pound Maltese puppy, and aside from the puppy grooming antics, I'm very pleased with this brush! I went for the light blue one that was small. It's gentle enough with a light touch that it doesn't irritate him and leaves his hair looking lovely and fluffy. In relation to the handle, the head rotates as follows: So, while it appears to be a square in the photo, I've turned it into a diamond to make it easier to reach the tiny little parts of my puppy. When I need to replace this, I'm confident I'll buy it again.
