Chris Christensen is an American actor who is best known for his role in the film Chris Christ The Mark ll Slicker brush, small, will do the trick. It's gentle on the skin, but it can get through tangles. I am a new groomer who purchased many of Chris' brushes; the owner, who has been grooming for over 30 years, liked mine so much that she purchased one for herself and her bather.
The wire bristles would be too harsh on a cat's fur, in my opinion. I own a standard poodle. Her hair has a tendency to curl up tightly. I give her a good brushing - It's popular with her, but I wouldn't use it on my long-haired cat. shredded all the time I had a lot of brushes, but I threw them out for this one. Extremely durable It is simple to use.
Yes! I really like the brushes. I have a few different sizes available. The medium appeals to me the most.

My poodle mix puppy is ten months old and has long, fine hair. He had been abused before coming to live with us, so it goes without saying that I wanted to be gentle with him. I bought everything I could get my hands on and they were all duds until I tried this one. It has tiny wire bristles that appear to hurt, but it gets through his hair, removes mats, and makes his hair soft and fluffy without bothering him. My little guy now appears to enjoy being brushed, and my husband has even begun brushing him because he enjoys using it. I'm not sure how it would work on coarser or curlier hair, but it's definitely worth a try if your dog has soft, cottony hair like mine. br>br>I've attached photos to demonstrate his hair type; the first one shows how my dog looked when he first came to live with us, and the second one shows how he looks now after he's been brushed.
When he arrived home, however, I quickly realized that the brush was far too large and the pins were far too long for a small puppy with a fluffy coat. I'm so glad I got this smaller brush (which I've heard is good for their legs, feet, and ears (smaller areas) later on). It's the ideal size for a Goldendoodle puppy. He was mostly content to let me brush him with some treats, as I wanted him to get used to this life-long daily event as soon as possible, and I wanted something that would work for his current size and coat. THIS IS THE END! Get one - It's very affordable, and you'll still use it on certain areas when he's older (though you'll want to get the larger CC coral as he grows).
As a replacement for my old Doggyman slicker, I recently ordered this brush. I'd always wanted a Chris Christensen brush because they're supposed to be the best, and I figured it would be worth it if it was gentler on my dog's skin, despite the cost. My brush was damaged when it arrived (some tines were bent backwards), but that was fine because I wouldn't have liked it anyway. Although the handle was attractive and the brush appeared to be of good quality, I tested it against my arm and discovered that it was scratchier and rougher than the Doggyman! So I returned the CC and will continue to use what I have. The moral of the story is that more expensive does not always imply better.
Poodle mix with a matted coat that is only a few months old. I looked at almost all of Chris Christensen's products and decided to order two of the Butter combs, one small for the face and a large one with finer and coarser sides for body work. These combs are fine, do a great job, and are easy to use. br>However, I also ordered a slicker brush from the same company (size small; my dog weighs 10 lbs. ). ), which turned out to be a complete failure. br>The tines (or pins) are extremely sharp, unyielding, and scratchy, injuring my hand when I lightly apply the bristles. My dog isn't particularly sensitive, but he didn't seem to enjoy being groomed with this brush, so I stopped using it. br>By chance, I just ran out of time to return it, and I believe I spent $28. I was so preoccupied with other things that I forgot to double-check the tool's return time. br>Because my dog's coat is dense and longish, even reaching for the brush causes him to become anxious, as if to say: "Please don't touch me with that dreadful brush!" "br>I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase and feel "trapped" by it. I'd also like to point out that the description box for this Amazon product could have done a better job of describing this tool.
For my Cavapoos, I prefer this slicker brush. I was nearly finished grooming one of my girls when it arrived. I used a metal comb and a two-sided slicker brush. The bristles of the brush were well-protected by the packaging. With my new slicker brush, I decided to groom the same puppy again. I was able to get a lot more coat out of it than before. The bristles on this slicker brush are extremely sharp, as they are on all slicker brushes. Caution is advised for both the user and the pet when using this product. The girls didn't object to this brush because I have a small hand, and they were already being groomed with another slicker. Is it a good investment? Yes, I'd like to say yes, but it all depends on how long it lasts.
After having to shave my lovely Honey twice due to too many nuds in her hair, I purchased this brush. My dog is a mix of shihpoo and poodle. Her hair is very curly, and I had no idea that while her previous shoddy brush appeared to detangle her hair, it was only doing so on the surface. After doing a lot of research on hair care, I discovered that her brush was not properly deshedddin, which was causing the tangles so close to her skin. She does not shed, at least not in the way that a typical dog does, so there will be no hair on the floor. It will tangle and will need to be brushed out. In the same way that a human being does. This brush takes care of everything and leaves her hair silky and soft! I got a good deal on this. Her fluffy hair can now be flaunted!.
My skin was cut and scraped by the pins. Because of how gentle it was on the skin, this was the only slicker I ever used. The new brush I got this weekend cuts and scratches my skin like a slicker from Walmart. I always tell my customers not to buy these kinds of things.
