Questions & Answers
Any cat, but especially those with thicker coats and longer hair. Thin-coated cats, on the other hand, aren't particularly fond of brushing: (It was a hit with my children.)
Yes, simply press the button, and the brush's bristles will retract completely inside the brush, allowing the hair/fur to fall out. Brush up on your skills!
My elderly cat despises it; she is extremely picky and will bite your hand if you attempt to lightly comb her. This is a fantastic brush, but it isn't at my house.
Yes, I am not concerned about the rubber tips of cat accessories because a slicker brush for cats can effectively protect my cat's skin when compared to other cat brushes.

Whatever brush we used resulted in squirming, yowling, twisting, and crying. Because we are unable to properly care for him, his fur has become matted, and his skin has become dry and flaky. Until now, that is. This was the 'last ditch effort' before shave him. Is the term "miracle" too strong? I took out the brush as he jumped into my lap for a cuddle. He didn't move at all, and he even stretched out so I could reach him all. When I did his tummy, he wasn't thrilled, but he put up with it. He's getting better every day, and it's all without any brushing fights. Plus, the push button for bringing the hair to the brush's top is fantastic. No, it doesn't completely remove it from the brush, but it is a pull-off rather than a dig-out situation, which makes life easier! I'm going to buy a second one right now so that we'll have a back-up when this one wears out.
My kitty has fine hair and is very sensitive to the sun. So it was difficult to find a brush that would allow me to give her a good bush, but I did find one that would allow me to give her a good bush down while she purred happily. However, she would only let me brush her for a certain amount of time or when she felt like it (due to her sensitive skin, I could only brush her for a short period of time). So I decided it was time for a new brush for her. When I came across this brush and read the positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. Why not try it? I reasoned. My cat is now looking forward to being brushed. She rushes in for her pampering session, and it removes all of the fine shedding hair while remaining gentle on her skin. Keep up the good work, guys; this product is fantastic. br>It's easy to clean, and the bead guards on the bottom of the brush protect her sensitive skin. I'm down with the comb because it gives her a nice brush.
My domestic cat, who has short hair, responds well to the brush. My long-haired cat enjoys it as well. It is a hit with both of them! The bristles of the brush are quite fragile, as are the bristles of most brushes of a similar design, so be careful not to bend or squish them or risk irreversible damage. The comb, on the other hand, I can't seem to find a good use for, and I don't see myself ever finding one. Four stars because it's a good brush at a reasonable price, which is the only reason I bought it in the first place.
Our Border Collie's coat is the thickest it's ever been, and she's shedding in clumps this year. We use the Shop Vac to brush and vacuum her, but the house remains fur-covered. I discovered this brush while searching YouTube for grooming tips, and it's fantastic. Plus, unlike the Furminator, which pulls her fur out, or a slicker, which only gets a little loose, this brush is effective and gentle on her skin. She comes to get groomed every evening when I hold up the brush. Because her skin isn't irritated and she doesn't have as much heavy, shedding fur to pull out, she isn't scratching nearly as much. I also bought a continuous spray bottle and mixed a 10% conditioner solution to keep her fur soft and untangled. (Her feathers and tail have thick, long hair. ) ) She's an older dog with a few benign moles under her fur that are difficult to see. The protective balls on the ends of the bristles on this brush prevent her skin (including moles) from being scratched. Because she sheds so much, the cleaning mechanism makes it so much easier for me to clean the brush. Overall, this is a 5-star rating. star win!.
This appears to be the best balance for those who have a lot of hair but don't do anything with it. br>br>Gentle bristles, the shape of which he can rub up against, collect (and trap) a lot of hair. and, at least for his fur, to clean the push-up It can be easily removed with just a push of a button. br>br>In addition, the rubber combs that come with it are fantastic at removing hair from upholstery and pillows. I didn't think that would be useful, but it turns out to be quite useful.
As far as my cat is concerned, it's a ten out of ten Our cat is so enamored with it that if she sees us holding it, she will follow us around and scream until she is brushed. My partner has been doing the majority of the brushing in the 24 hours we've had it, and he's become the new favorite. She's been having issues with excess dander and an oily coat for a while, and it's hard to say whether it's helping with either of those things (again, only 24 hours of sporadic brushing), but it's definitely bringing a lot of that dander that gets lost in her fur (long haired baby) to Overall, as a human and a cat, I enjoy this brush. The only thing I'd change is the size; it's a little unwieldy, but that's a minor quibble given the level of satisfaction it provides.
Our dog responded well to this brush. The hair was easily removed from the brush thanks to the button that pushed it off. It is something that our dog enjoys having brushed.
So, because our foster dog, a beagle mix, was shedding so much, I bought this for her. I bought it for the brush, but the comb is even better! br>br>The brush is great because it has a Hutton on the back that makes it easy to push all of the dead fur off of the brush. br>br>I was blown away by the comb. I wasn't wowed by my first impressions, to be honest. Although it appears to be a flimsy piece of plastic, it actually grabs a lot of the undercoat! I even use it as a lint roller on my Clostridium to get rid of some hair without damaging the fabric! Will purchase again! br>br>.
