P-Scoop Dog Urine Collector - Telescopic Urine Catcher for Dogs to 29"

The angle is too shallow for easy collection and too shallow for easy collection. We bought this in the hopes that it would assist us in collecting urine samples from our dog (we need to lower his PH) with him not being aware of it. It's not uncommon for my dog to go the entire day without peeing when we are trying to collect a specimen, he literally won't pee at all when we collect samples. However, the handles on this unit are angled in a way that prevents without squatting down from being able to use the telescoping handle parallel to the ground while using the unit. As a result, it sends the message that something is wrong to the dog, defeating the purpose of having it. When urine is collected in a shallow cup, it splashes out instead of collecting.

surprised when I saw this product and so happy to see it. Maybe I just hadn't looked in the right place. I had to kind of sneak it under her nose when she was doing her business, as she was a rather private person! Thankfully, everything worked out well and she finished her antibiotics without any problems. I was asked to bring in a second sample after her antibiotics. I ended up choosing this one and I am very happy As my service dogs are both rather large girls, I like to have them get at least two detailed check-ups from the start They need twice yearly vet visits as they become senior (5 to 7 years old), so we do not skimp on vet care. Since my sweet Phoebe passed her tenth birthday (I lost Bekah to a stroke a little more than a month after her tenth birthday), I've gone from worried to full out hysterical if she seems upset. As of her first birthday, my dogs and I have been together 24/7. We have never spent a single night apart from each other since that time, and if it weren't for my dogs, I would have lost my independence many years ago. I had both of them as my entire life's companions - I was truly blessed to have them - To say farewell to him is the hardest thing a person can do. In my last success with a plastic plate (tossing it like a frisbee after she squats) and a mini plastic container for afterwards, I had a great result. was working until it reached its target and started making noise immediately after which she jumped and tipped it. The lady gave me just enough of a sample to get a sample of urine, but was reluctant to pee Even though I had the P-card, she didn't know what it was I was able to hold the leash and scoop in one hand because I didn't need to balance two awkward objects at the same time. As soon as I got it under her, it made no sound and I didn't catch her attention when I was retracting it. As a matter of fact, I was afraid I would miss. Although I would like it to come with more sample containers, because my veterinarian did not return mine, I have waited outside for upwards of four hours on other occasions without getting a sample, so finding a replacement (or a new kit) would be worth it!.

As a result of Angel's medical condition, we are required to check her urine every 3 months, and after a while she was incredibly difficult Her compulsive antisocial behavior was to the point she wasn't willing to go into the yard when It took me almost 2 weeks to catch urine from her the last time I attempted it. This is what I found when I decided to look and see if there was anything that could help me. I cannot tell you how much this has meant to you are done in 1 2 3! This is an excellent product. I'm so happy I came across it.

What a great idea! A Tupperware container was hard for me to use under my dog because it was so big. In the past year, I have been checking the urine of my dog at least twice a day for diabetes. When I came across this , it was extremely helpful I love how well it works! Also, the fact that you can extend it so far as to not scare your pet is awesome! This works perfectly under a dog and does not disturb them at all. My dog even doesn't realize that it is there! If I could suggest one thing, it was that the box be a bit more robust in case of spills, and bright white (color) so I can see urine, blood, etc. Otherwise, I love it! My friends love it as well and I've told them about it a lot! If you have to do this all the time, it makes life a whole lot easier.

After four days, I gave up. The order was placed the previous day and it was delivered I spent some time familiarizing myself with it in the back yard, then I used a sample when it was time. I can't believe how easy it is!.

Since my dog was small and we had to collect urine first thing in the morning when we were hardly awake, it was a real pain to collect several urine samples from her every three to six months for years. I found it to be very easy to do. Our samples are always delivered on time as the telescoping handle makes it easy and the small bowl provides ample room for samples.
