This is something I bought to take with me when I travel internationally with my dog. Thankfully, I've never needed it. BUT these are the aspects of the set that I find appealing. Everything folds out, allowing you to see what you're looking for through the clear pouches. Nothing is scarier than not being able to stop bleeding, so I appreciate that it came with tourniquets. The thermometer is an excellent addition because you will need it every time your dog becomes ill. When you call the veterinarian, they'll ask if your dog has a fever. I like the emergency blanket because shock can be a problem if you're out on the trail and he gets hurt; however, I wish it came with pain reliever and peroxide to induce vomiting (in case of ingested poison). I also added wound closure strips and blood stopping powder to my kit. Both of these items fit nicely in the kit and are useful if you accidentally cut your toenail too close or if your dog cuts himself. The kit is long-lasting and high-quality on its own. quality. It covers a wide range of issues that could arise with your dog, including everything from trauma to illness. These would fit in the kit, but I also have probiotics (for an upset stomach or stress) and electrolyte powder (for dehydration). On a trail or if your dog contracts a virus, dehydration can strike quickly. As a starting point, I recommend this kit! But before you do anything else, consider what you're doing with your dog and what you're missing.
This is an incredible kit! As a pet sitter and dog walker, I like to keep a first-aid kit on hand for my furry friends in case something goes wrong. This kit includes everything you'll need to provide proper pet first aid and CPR, as well as transportation to a veterinarian for treatment. I strongly advise pet owners to have one on hand.
I bought it with the intention of using the majority of the pieces in a larger case I'm working on. I used the case to make a small human first aid kit for our work vehicle because it was too small for what I needed. I finally settled on an XL Vasker 14 x 9 x 4 size. Filling a 25-piece cosmetics case with the contents of this kit, as well as a rolled-up SAM splint and a variety of gloves- sterile surgical and regular exam gloves, various instruments, ointments, sprays, emergency drugs (epinephrine, diphenhydramine, atropine, dexamethasone), and additional bandaging, vet wrap, gauze, chemical light glow sticks, and Nonstop dogwear booties It travels with me everywhere and only comes out of my car when the temperature is too hot or too cold. br>br>This kit comes in a nice firm case with good organization, and while I ended up using the case, I purchased it with the intention of using the contents to build a more comprehensive human and pet emergency kit.
I was looking for something unique for my pets, and this pet first aid kit did not disappoint. It includes a tick remover, a thick collar, wipes, gloves, and other items that I can use specifically for my pet rather than relying on my regular first-aid kit. This product provides me with peace of mind in the event that something unexpected occurs.
A first aid kit is one of those items that we all require but hope to never need. This kit is a must-have if you have pets, and I was blown away by the number of items included - A thermometer, bandages, and scissors - and pretty much anything else you might need in an emergency You'll also find a small travel bag to take with you. This is a great pet first-aid kit that's well worth the money, and I'd recommend it to anyone who has a pet.
You will not be able to miss this /? thanks to its bright orange jacket. Kit. It's packed with all of the essentials, as well as a few extras, that go into a good First Aid Kit. As you personalize it, there will be room to add more items. Aside from that, My first one arrived with a hole in it that was leaking. After making a quick call to the company, I received a replacement in just three days - I'll be ready for my First Aid Class in no time! Great product with even better customer service!.
Our dogs accompany us on camping trips, hiking excursions, hunting excursions, kayaking excursions, and other outdoor activities. We simply needed something to keep on hand in the event of a minor injury. I'm a vet tech, so I added a few things that most people wouldn't think of, but overall, it was a good buy for the money.
