The 36"x12" door has a 14"Hx11"W opening. 11"Hx8"W is the size of the 29"x17" door opening.
Our dog crate's top is, of course, removable and can be used for puppy training.
No, you can't see through the top of this; you can only see through the sides. There is a small view on top, but it's not much. Whatever you do, don't let the puppies see how you open and close it because they'll chew on the zipper.
This is a fantastic playpen. It is, however, insufficiently large for a large puppy. As a point of comparison, I had a 20-pound Newfoundland puppy in here. It turned out to be excellent. It was far too small once she reached 40 pounds. This cage's great feature is that the sides are reinforced, making it extremely stable. Unlike the cheap play pens, these are durable. It Is Waterproof As Well As Well As Well A It is, however, not particularly large. With that in mind, it is 1000% worth the price and honestly the best quality playpen on the market or on Amazon for the price and honestly the best quality playpen on the market or on%

I rarely write Amazon reviews, but I have to gush about this pop-up pen! I was a little hesitant about purchasing a new pen after reading reviews about how flimsy and poorly made it is, but I'm glad I did because there's nothing I don't like about it! We used to have a heavy metal folding pen, but the hinges were falling apart, so we needed a new one. We have a Rat Terrier that weighs 24 pounds. chihuahua - a chihuahua is a small dog She's a tall (23") American Eskimo mix who has no trouble fitting into this pen. We've had this pen for a few weeks, and she was hesitant at first, but after a few days, she grew to enjoy it. I like how it folds up flat, how easy it is to set up, how sturdy and well made it is, how there are no loose threads anywhere, and how it has pockets on the side to store things (!). It even comes with a carrying case with handles, which is extremely useful, and it's plenty roomy inside for her but enclosed enough to feel more den-like than the previous metal pen. It's waterproof, and the bottom and top unzip for easy access when you need it. We leave the dog half-zipped to allow her to get more air. The zippers are so smooth that they don't catch on anything, and the top and bottom zippers overlap, making it super easy to put on the top and bottom pieces, which unzip completely. She only takes up about a third of the pen, and even with her bed inside, it doesn't quite fill it up. We can even leave her water and food bowls in there while we're gone for the day so she has access to them at all times, and there's enough space to feel like a separate bedroom and eating area; however, if you're crate training a puppy, this probably won't work. I also like how they added Velcro to the door so you can roll it up or leave it down to make it feel like a doggie door flap when you want. There are two doors, but we usually only use one, which is closed and faces the wall. She'll even sleep in there during the day if I don't ask her to; it's where she sleeps at night, and we zip up the entire pen to keep her nice and warm inside; best of all, it's not awkward or heavy to lift, and we have hardwood floors where the metal pen used to scrape all the time; and it's fabric, but of excellent quality. If you're looking for a den but don't want a big dog house, this is a great option. If you have a smaller to medium-sized dog and don't want to use crates or a pen but still want to travel with your dog, this is the best option. I wouldn't recommend this for a larger dog, and it's probably best for dogs under 40 pounds to avoid tearing up the pen. We're also fortunate that she hasn't tried to jump out from the top, especially since we leave it half open. I adore it, and I don't think I'll ever return to the heavy, clumsy crates and pens!.
I had originally ordered a 48-inch-diameter playpen, which was not only too large for my 8-pound dog, but also wouldn't fit in a professional work environment. I did some more research on other playpens and came across this one. The only drawback is that it's very dark, which means you can't see your baby through the black mesh very well, but other than that, it's a great fit for its 36 inch diameter and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try to train their animal to be in a space for a short or longer period of time, or to keep their baby secure and safe when the situation requires it. There's a lot of airflow in the playpen. Because my baby will require some coaxing, I recommend using treats to reinforce the fact that this is a fun, safe environment rather than a punishment. Don't throw away the breakdown instructions; it's critical to fold the playpen correctly to avoid damaging it. My conclusion is that more colors should be available, but aside from that, this is a very durable item. Finally, if you plan on using it outside, it does not come with stakes.
Overall, this is a fantastic product that is well-made and made of high-quality materials. This is exactly what I was looking for for my small Pug mix. More color options and stakes for outdoor use would be the only things that would take it to the next level. It's not a huge deal, but it'd be nice to have.
We chose the largest size available so that they would have plenty of space to play. Both play pens arrived in excellent condition with no visible damage, and they've been a joy to use thus far! I was concerned that the puppies would chew these to shreds in no time, but they have held up well despite their constant chewing. They chew, so keep that in mind if you have larger dogs who chew a lot! I always keep some Gorilla tape on hand in case the babies decide to chew a huge hole in it or something. They've gnawed at the zippers that lead to the floor, causing minor damage, but I cover the floor zippers with washable potty pads to keep the babies from getting to them so easily. Since we're still in the early stages of potty training, it definitely helps to keep the floor covered and also makes it easier to clean up accidents. My puppies adore this play pen and spend a lot of time there. They do sleep in a wired crate at night because the play pen would have been chewed to shreds by now if they slept in it all night. As a result, make sure this is only used as a play area and not as a permanent home for chewing puppies. We also have an older (7-year-old) Pomeranian (who does not chew) who enjoys lounging in the play pens on occasion. For some reason, the gray play pen appears to be of higher quality than the red play pen, but that could just be me. I prefer the gray one over the red because it is more appealing; however, I use both of them and alternate between them. I plan to buy a third play pen in the future because they are so useful and wonderful for young, playful, energetic dogs. I also haven't tried folding or transporting these play pens yet, so I can't comment on that. Thanks!.
Tags and zippers will almost certainly be chewed if left unattended with a puppy or chewers! We've also taught her not to jump up and put weight on the top, as I can see her turning the whole thing on its side with a little more growth. It holds its shape well, is sturdy, and well built. Thick material with a high-quality waterproof lining.
