very. I've used it on two puppies so far. as a rabbit exercise pen for a group of rabbits My canine companions are five in number. It's been six years, so it's been a long time. She or he may be able to move the puppy if it is a large breed.
This is something I truly adore. I have a 5 month old giant Schnoodle puppy, and this is my go-to method for keeping her contained. I've put in 6 of the 8 panels, and it measures 45" across (when shaped like a circle). When I put all eight in, I'm not sure. Lucy will actually enter and exit this as if it were a crate. It is where she spends a lot of her time sleeping. And it's so much better than a crate because I don't have to listen to her stand up, wrestle, and then lay down again!

This is great for my dogs, but it does require disassembly when you want to store it. Instead of having to remove all of the pins and stack everything individually, it would be nice if all of the pieces could simply fold up into one unit. Especially now that I've purchased three of them! Aside from that, it performs admirably for my purposes.
This is the second time I've used this particular gate. I've had the first one since 2011, and I use it as a safety gate for my service dogs in my van. In my Ford Econoline E150, I removed the middle seats, and it fits perfectly there, with two panels clipped in with zip ties and carabeaners on each side. I attach a back seat organizer to it and store toys and other necessities (e. g. , diapers, wipes, etc. ) in it. I keep ear wash, nail trimmers, tick tweezers, poop baggies, and other items in it, and I keep their packs clipped to it for easy access. I can use the doggie door or reshape the panels to store large items in the back while using the large panels as doors. br>br>I was in a car accident, and I'm confident that the gate saved my dogs' lives. Only one small vertical piece of plastic broke, but this had no effect on the function. br>br>The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was white; one rain and the mud was everywhere, making me look filthy, so I had to take it off and scrub it down, and eventually some marks didn't wash off. I tried spray painting it a few weeks ago, but it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped; I squandered a lot of paint, and the odor lingered even after the paint had dried. I'm sorry, but I had to discard it. br>br>That's why I went with brown this time, though it's not quite brown; it's more like a dark cherry with a hint of plum. In the van, it's a beautiful color, and I prefer it to the brown I was anticipating! I can now wait for the rain to stop before scrubbing the cage, and it will not be as dirty. Also, the quality is identical to that of the 2011 model; they haven't scrimped on the materials, which I greatly appreciate!.
When our dog had surgery and we needed to keep him confined, this came in handy. Our 70-pound lab did not breach the set up, and it is sturdy enough to stay put (the bottom of the pen also has rubber pads). I appreciate how simple it is to disassemble and reassemble (it took me less than 5 minutes). We now have a two-panel section out to block off our stairs, and our installer has had no problems with it. This one outperforms any of the previous metal x-rays in terms of price. We've experimented with a variety of pen styles.
The IRIS exercise panels are more appealing to me than the metal playpen I purchased for my dog. The panels are made of plastic and will not rust if left outside. Initially, I used them to potty train my puppy inside. When the other pen rusted, I started using the IRIS pen outside because the panels are sturdy and it works both indoors and outdoors. br>br>On the backs of the panels, there are some empty spaces that collect grass clippings and dust, making them difficult to clean. Those spots would be better if they were made of solid plastic. I think it would be easier to keep them clean if I had a pressure washer, but a small brush and hose do the trick. The white panels, however, are stained by the grass. br>br>I'm not a huge fan of the poles. Each pole's top cap pops off or cracks, causing the pole to fall apart. While being used inside on a tile floor, they began to come off shortly after purchase. Even when the tops are superglued back onto the poles, they do not stay in place. I tried several types of glue, but none of them worked. br>br>Once the top of the pole has been removed, the pole will go all the way into the top connectors on the panels. Pulling the poles out to separate the panels becomes extremely difficult as a result of this. The pole will fall through if the two panels are lifted. Because they fall through, carrying them in any of the preassembled pairs is difficult. br>br>The poles are pointed on the ends, but they can't be pushed into the ground once they're connected to the panels because they're too short. Because the top of the pole is hidden inside the connecting panel pieces, there is nothing to hold onto to push it into the ground once the top has been removed. br>br>*** I wish the poles were longer so that they could be pushed into the ground without breaking the tops. **
br>It would also be extremely beneficial if the poles' tops were more securely fastened. The metal pole begins to rust once the top is removed, and I'm pretty sure they start to hold water because they're hollow and have a closed point at the bottom. While the pen can be purchased with gate panels for the dog, there is no easy way for a person to enter the pen without removing a pole and separating the panels. If the poles didn't get stuck because the tops popped off, this would be fine. I wish there was a panel with a door that could be used by an adult. br>br>Overall, I believe the IRIS exercise pen is worthwhile because the panels are of good quality and it has met my requirements. I believe that with a few tweaks to the poles, it could be a fantastic product!.

This, along with a cover for it, was purchased for my Italian Greyhound puppy to keep him from trying to jump out while I was away.
