My mini schnauzers, who weigh 15 and 18 pounds, fit perfectly in the smallest size. Love it!
No, I doubt it. It claims to fit 14"- tall people in the small size. 16". I'm afraid I'm not aware of any other options available to you.

This is one of those brilliantly simple products that makes you wonder why you didn't think of it first. "It's ideal for hiking, the dog park, or any other situation where your dog will be off-leash for the majority of the time. " You want to be able to keep them on a leash for a short period of time- If you're walking through a parking lot, for example, or if another dog is approaching, you should be cautious. It's tough and feels solid, but if you have a strong dog who pulls a lot, this won't be enough to keep them in line. Our dog weighs about 35 pounds, so I ordered a medium, which fits well but is as snug as it can be. The retractable leash almost always gets caught inside the collar, and it takes a little wiggling to get it out, which is why I deducted one star. I would still recommend it because there is nothing else on the market that compares to it. br>br>**Update*
The leash snapped/ came undone from inside the collar after a year and cannot be repaired. This is a fantastic idea, but the quality is poor, so we will not be purchasing again.
Our previous Rad Dog collar (or 'zippy collar,' as we refer to it) served us well but eventually died. The Nite Ize version is made in China, as opposed to the original, which was made in nearby Bellingham, WA. We had a lot of fun with our last one while mountain biking or going to a group camping site where you might need a leash quickly. I'm hoping it lasts as long as the last.
This is the one to choose. This is the best dog product I've ever bought. Now that I've had it for a few months, I'm very happy with it. It makes it so much easier to go for a run. Camping is also a good idea. Also useful for those inevitable dog encounters when the leashes become tangled due to an excited puppy. I could simply let go, and the leash slipped back into the collar without a hitch; my dog still pulls when leashed, but this collar has handled it admirably. For my 73-pound GSD, I ordered a large. This book comes highly recommended.
When you only need to use a leash for a short period of time while hiking, this is a great idea. However, the execution was poor. The cord attachment is constantly snagged by the nylon sleeve, limiting length to about a foot unless you stop and fiddle with it for a while to un-snag it. snag the plastic that holds the cord hand loop in place. Given that, despite being a well-known company, this is cheaply made in China and costs more than twice as much as functionally identical leashes made in China that do not have this one's significant design/functional flaw, find one of the Amazon copies and try it—you'll save money and frustration. This one was simply created by someone who had never tested their work before.
When RadDog was the manufacturer, I had a lot of luck. That collar has been working flawlessly for the past two years. We've had three breakups with Nite Ize, each less than two months apart. The first only lasted two weeks; the second only lasted two weeks; and the third only (It's a pity, because the concept is fantastic. ).
Well, he's great about staying close to us, but to be polite, we like to keep him on a leash when people pass us by, and this device makes it so simple! He weighs 23 pounds and the shirt fits him well, but he doesn't seem to mind. It's convenient to be able to simply grab the loop, pull out the lead, and keep him restrained for as long as necessary. I'm not sure how well it would hold up to a lot of tugging - my dog doesn't pull, so I'm not sure how well it would hold up to a lot of tugging - but it's definitely better than carrying a leash around with you that you don't use the majority of the time. Although the lead is quite thin, it has the potential to be quite strong for its size. trail dogs that are well behaved!.
Within two days of purchase, the item became defective. I had the previous RadDog version, which lasted about 6 months before the leash ripped. This one became stuck with the leash fully extended and would not retract, so it was returned.
For our dog, this is ideal. We go for walks with our dog and she literally follows us the entire time, so I wanted to try walking her off leash but still be able to grab her if necessary. It functions as a collar, and I can easily retract the leash by pulling it out. When rolling back up, it makes a "winding" noise that initially startled our dog, but she soon became accustomed to it. br>Another thing to consider - This works for us because our dog isn't a big puller of the leash when someone or a dog walks by. We wanted it more for the look of her being on a leash in case someone passing by with or without a dog was concerned. We already know she won't run, but having this assurance gives them peace of mind.
