There was some weight to the whole thing and it was stout. It is also very handy to have a poop bag holder that didn't have the spring opening, as it saves the need to keep the baggies in a pocket. The reason I am being so bold in this review is that I have to control my pet and keep her safe, as well as others around her, while using this leash. Basically, it is junk, and that is why Amazon showed lots of ads for it. It took just a month for the flashlight and bag dispenser to break. It's a bad item because its components are two out of three. In this dispenser, the hinge had broken just because it was too tight or too fragile (spring is too tight or hinge plastic is There was an issue with Flashlight from the beginning. I noticed that it was blinking after working for five minutes. A few days later, it died after I had changed the batteries and adjusted the springs. Is it really possible to trust a leash with accessories that are falling apart at such a high rate and so often? That is certainly not the case. You are a wonderful company that allowed me to return this defective product.

This review is an update after the product was fixed. Initially, I was unhappy with the leash as it broke on the first day of I had a one-hour walk with my 20 lb mini schnauzer and the leash got stuck several times and refused to retract at all after about three-quarters of the way through. In the aftermath of my refund request, I requested a refund from Amazon three days after I received no response from the seller. Stark's replies go to spam, as it turned out. I bought a leash from Stark that was faulty, and they promptly refunded my purchase, fixed the problem, and even provided me with a replacement leash at no cost, hoping that this would be the case. Having a product that doesn't work isn't ideal, but the best you can hope for is a seller who is prompt and accessible to answer your questions or My hope is that I'll try other Stark products in the future if the replacement leash works.

A recent update has been made. Unfortunately, my granddaughter lost this flashlight and I have been unable to find a replacement. A 3 year old won't remember where she put it when the slide off and on, which is logical, but to a 5 year old that isn't really important. There is nothing bad to say about this I found the treat holder to be inadequate the top came off twice. But, I attached another bag holder to the handle and it works well. Also, since I take my dog out early in the morning and at night, finding the flashlight attached to the handle is extremely helpful! It had been a hassle trying to hold a leash, and a flashlight (sometimes holding it in my mouth), while picking up the mess with my other hand. This is a nice alternative!

A significant upgrade from the leash I was using previously. With bungee ends, pet owners never have to worry about their dog throwing a fit when he takes off from the leash and reaches the end. As well as that, he just likes to walk around with the leash in his mouth, which he had worn through three times with the old leash. Therefore, I hope there are bungee/anti-bungee safety measures

The uncoiling and coiling are very smooth. This is a durable chew end that will deliver on its promise of durability. The extra accessories are a positive addition, I don't need to worry about carrying a poop bag in my pocket or remembering to grab one when I walk by, they're right here on the handle. In that respect I wish it were a little faster. The flashlight is a must now with the new time change, and being right on the leash, I don't have to carry one in my other hand. The rubber handle is nice, I can't wait to try it with gloves on, the rubber should make it grip well. This is by far one of the best leashes I've used so far, the Rolls Royce of leashes if you will.

I have updated Now that I've kept this, I regret keeping it, since the flashlight that comes with it is sh*t It pretty much fell apart when I pressed the button to turn it on. The bulbs and batteries fell through the large hole at the front of the lamp and, because we were walking at night, it was hard to see where everything fit together again. Then it was useful, but now it has no use. I find it very frustrating. This is not something you should buy. I received a flashlight that did not work the first time I received it. We ordered a replacement after trying it a second time. I am able to use the second one without any problems. There is a bungee portion of the leash to absorb additional shock when pulling or running your dog. A flashlight is included for night walks. The attachment for the poop bag is attached as well. Those cons are Compared to my other retractable leash brand, this thing is pretty noisy when it retracts and pulls. This gets annoying after using it for a while. The biggest con for us is the fact that it's heavy, which is a big nuisance on This is true both because of the flashlight and bag holder attachments, but also because the leash itself is heavy. The flashlight attachment is handy, but we don't use it for everyday use since it is not suitable for everyday use.
