The handle is not covered in rubber. I'm a 7-pound woman. It's a fantastic leash for Yorkies. (The small pink was the one I bought.) Best of luck! enjoy.
There aren't any issues. It really works!
The top picture was the one I got. a vibrant shade of pink

The leash is my favorite. It has an all-ribbon leash, so there's no danger of being cut by those dreadful wire leashes. It also includes a break, allowing you to quickly stop the dog if necessary. It has a nice retraction and is light in weight. You shouldn't have any problems with this leash if you get the right size for your dog. If it breaks, it's possible you ordered the wrong size or your dog isn't ready for a retractable leash (dogs must be under control before these leashes are appropriate). My 20-pound Boston Terrier enjoys the freedom of being able to sniff further down the trail, and I appreciate not having to worry about her tripping over a leash when we walk close together.
THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I'VE DONE SOMETHING LIKE THIS. HOLLY, MY 6 1/2 YEAR OLD YORKIE, IS A BEAUTIFUL DOG. WE WERE OUT CATCHING ON THE BRICK RETAINING WALL FOR THE FIRST ONE, BUT ONLY AFTER WALKS THAT BENEFITTED BOTH OF US. MY SISTER RECEIVED THE SECOND AS A GIFT FOR HER DOG. THIS BEAUTIFUL IN PINK LEASH SHOULD LAST A LONG TIME. SHE CAN WEAR ME OUT BECAUSE SHE IS SUCH A SMALL DOG. THE 16FT GIVES HER A LOT OF ROOM TO MOVE AROUND IN. THE SAFETY STOP BUTTON ASSISTS IN MAINTAINING OUR SAFETY. A FANTASTIC PRODUCT. I'M GOING TO GET THE LIGHT FOR NIGHT WALKING NEXT MONTH.
Flexi is the best leash for my dogs, as I've discovered through trial and error. I've bought similar ones from different brands that don't work or last long, but these are well-made and feel right in my hand. This is the first time I've purchased a Flexi without seeing it first. I'm very pleased with it; it's substantial and attractive, and the rope is a tape model rather than a wire style (which I didn't notice when I ordered). It appears to be a safer option for all parties involved. The leash also comes with a warranty, which I believe is for two years. Just in case, I kept the packaging. It's a win-win situation for all parties involved.
This leash allows me to let her walk ahead of me while also allowing me to lock the leash when we come across another dog in our path. The lock is in excellent condition. The way the leash takes in the slack and never drags on the ground is fantastic when we're walking without other dogs in sight. I took a large key ring and attached a small flashlight and the doggie bags to the handle so that I could take our nightly walks with everything I needed.
It also feels strong and sturdy. The best part is the attachable (and separately sold) container for treats or bags; I bought this lead specifically for that purpose and was not disappointed. I don't think I'll need to replace it anytime soon. My most recent lead was only good for a year. It'll be well worth your time to read this one.
I bought the small size for my chihuahua, who weighs about 10 pounds. It appeals to me. It never tangles or jams. The only problem I've had is due to my dog's size, not the leash. Because the leash is so strong, when I unlock it from its locked position, it jolts my dog backwards a little! It still works fine; just be cautious when unlocking it if you have a small dog. She was on the verge of tumbling down a hill backwards.
You can press and release for a quick hold, or purse and push forward to lock it; both of these motions are very natural in comparison to other leashes, which either lock as soon as you press or require you to press and pull backwards to lock. br>br>I hope you find this information useful; I know this is the type of information I was looking for when I was looking for one.
a well-made, sturdy retractable leash that does the job - assisting in the maintenance of a reasonably well-kept medium-stylish, well-mannered In distracting circumstances, keep a large dog under control. I don't have a large, leash-wielding dog. I haven't tested it under stress, so I can't say how well it holds up, but it feels solid in your hand and the retraction mechanism works smoothly. My daughter thinks it's adorable, and she especially likes how the pink matches our dog's collar and harness.
