My dog followed the instructions to the letter. It was a bad experience.
That's a tough one because my dog fits into all three sizes on their size chart. Despite the fact that my dog is a medium size, I purchased the large and adjusted the strap that goes behind his ears. If your dog has a small snout, this isn't an issue because the leash will tighten where you fasten it as the dog pulls.

This worked wonders on him, as he is a very aggressive puller. It's not too tight, and he can open his mouth, yawn, eat treats, and drink water without difficulty. He didn't like it at first, but walking has turned into a fun activity for both of us!.
My dog is still getting used to wearing this lead, but compared to when she is wearing a harness, it has almost completely changed her demeanor. We've gone for a couple of short walks to get her used to having it on outside the house. My only issue is that she gets tangled in her leash all of the time because she is flexible enough to bring her paw up and over where the lead connects to her leash, making for an uncomfortable walking experience for her and requiring patience for me to untangle her. After ordering the wrong size by accident (measuring is tricky! ), the company was extremely helpful in sending me the correct one. ) and requested that I donate the outcast to a shelter (which I gladly did). We're still learning that booking it after the neighborhood dogs to play while wearing this isn't a good idea, as she's done a complete 180 as a result. Definitely works better for us with a standard leash as opposed to a retractable one, as the retractable one will almost always be applying pressure unless I measure out x amount and lock it (which kind of defeats the purpose of a retractable leash, in my opinion). Overall, I'm very pleased with it, and I'm looking forward to the day when she'll be more tolerant of it so we can start teaching her some leash manners!.
My pitbull weighs in at 60 pounds. I also have a lab/boxer mix who weighs in at 70 pounds. Despite the fact that one has a shorter snout, the M fits them both perfectly. My pit doesn't like wearing it and chews the inside of his mouth when it's on. He wouldn't even go to the bathroom until I coached him to do so. My lab mix used to have one of these, and she still wears it with no problems. Overall, this is a great tool for teaching your dog to walk alongside you. Just keep in mind that you must contribute to the training process by acclimating your dog to wearing it. Guider of exceptional quality.
I have a service dog, and I've always used head halters on him, but he needed a new one. First, I didn't realize the harness didn't come with a safety strap; the material is nice and thick, and it fits him perfectly everywhere else except his snout, which can't be adjusted. br>Recent changes: I contacted the company, and they sent me a smaller one that fit his snout but not his head; they refunded my money and allowed me to keep both leaders.
This head collar is well-made and well-stitched to keep your dog from pulling. It works better and lasts longer, in my opinion, than the high-priced ones purchased from a pet store. It's inexpensive and simple to apply to your pet. On the sides, there are no rings or snaps that will come into contact with the pet's face. It has a good amount of padding. When I need a leash and harness for my pet, I'll turn to this seller. Oh, and the customer service is extremely pleasant and straightforward. I ordered the incorrect size, but the problem was quickly resolved after I contacted the seller as directed. They worked quickly and were pleasant to work with. Thanks a million times over.
This is a fantastic product that seems to be very comfortable in the short term. My French Mastiff, on the other hand, had no trouble getting it off. The leash connection is directly under the chin, so if he drags his paws over his face, it will easily slip away. We ended up using a different face collar, this time with the leash connection under his jaw rather than under his chin, making it more difficult to remove. Also, because of the way the snout loop is designed, I feel like his face wrinkles got caught up in strange ways with this. However, customer service was excellent, and I received my refund within a few hours; overall, the experience was excellent; however, it was not the right fit for us.
I purchased two of these for our 50-pound hound mix and our 100-pound black lab mix. Prior to using these, both of them were pulling and walking them was difficult. After using these, I can walk them both together (or separately) with hardly any pulling. The dog trainer at our puppy training class recommended gentle leaders, so I bought them. These items are incredible. The only drawback is that people mistakenly believe the dogs are wearing muzzles and, as a result, believe they are aggressive, which they are not. br>At first, the dogs were not fond of them, but now they get excited whenever I bring them home or when I tell them it's time to go outside.
This head halter was purchased in the correct size, but it does not fit well. During the walk, the size-adjustment strap around the dog's neck slips, allowing the dog's head to slip out. Although I believe it is the correct size for my English pointer, the strap over the snout sits too close to the bottom of my dog's eyes, which bothers her.
