HOLT was described on the box, and the dog dummy even had a picture of a HOLT head lead on it. Picture is of a HOLT head collar with a tag identifying it clearly as such. As you receive a simple walk 'n lead, the material is very thin, the stitching seems to be questionable, and I have to wonder how long it will last. Now I wish the seller would just say that If that is the case, that would be fine, but labeling something as something else to make sales is a bad move! Due to my dislike of deception, I gave this review a low rating. It goes a long way to establish trust.

This situation was "tangled up" (that's the only way I can describe it), and I almost had an anxiety attack trying to figure out what was going on. My brand was the correct one, so I repurchased it The order has been placed. In this case, I would not recommend it.

I am very pleased with how well this works She knows right away that she cannot pull as soon as she puts it on. As I don't use it every day, I can't critique it as such. She forgets how to walk just as she starts to lose her balance. Although it is very thin, it gets all tangled up a lot, as others have noted.

This is NOT a hoax! Please be careful! I was sent a cheap knock-off of a Holt head collar, despite the advertisement saying this was a Holt product

It looks incredibly cheap, and it is made from very thin material. A Holt collar isn't anywhere near this level of quality. Sorry to hear that.

Leash yanking can be controlled with this product

The leash allows us to walk our GSP without worrying about her pulling really hard on the leash. It can be a challenge to put on and your dog doesn't like the way it squeezes her nose but you will figure it out and it works to control a sixty-pound.

I liked this collar for the price

This collar was missing a snap. Featured in advertising. A "Holt" collar was the name they gave it. An example of a "Holt" collar can be seen in the picture. Yet a collar with a "Holt" brand was not sent. Among the books I received was one titled "A walk and train". While it is a decent collar, it is not at the same level as the Holt Despite being more preferable to the Holt, it will work. I don't want to send it back for a second time.

The Gentle Leaders might be an interesting alternative

These are a nice alternative to the Gentle Leaders, especially if your dog has short hair and can't handle the rubbing caused by them. In addition, they do not have to go through such a complicated introduction process as It is not loved by the dogs, but they can be used for a head collar much more quickly than the gentle leaders that must be gradually introduced to the dog before they can be used.

A rescue pit that I've been training came in handy for this purchase. He is like a completely different dog when it's on, since he does have some dominance issues. His trainer recommended it because he has some dominance issues. Only problem is that he does not have much room to pant on a hot day, so breathing is a challenge.
