I was fortunate to have a second collar attached because the first collar snapped almost immediately. As soon as he saw a rabbit he snapped it with ease. It fit snug on his head and was good for the first 10 minutes and I had a lot of control. I was confused regarding why a rubber part would be made part of an otherwise metal collar, as I anticipated that it would not hold up. This is a great product, but make sure you use a backup since you will lose your dog if it breaks. I regret returning this product because the rubber part is made from rubber rather than metal or hard plastic.

As soon as she saw a small dog she chased it and I stopped taking her from the neighborhood for walks- As a regular leash wasn't tight enough for her, I had trouble holding it. The fact that she will try to pull away can cause the muzzle to tighten if she pulls, and to loosen if she stays close to give it some slack when she stays close. When we walk my huge dog, I wasn't sure if the muzzle would even fit, but it does and we have seen people, cats, and dogs along the way. It may look as though she is interested or barking, but she immediately gives up and stops trying to run or pull me. It's likely just as easy for a younger child to handle and control as well!.

My dog pulls a leash extremely hard, so I thought Kurgo's Snout About would be the best. The last time I walked my girl I fell down a slippery rocky slope. After a few such falls, I stopped walking her. During a search for another item, I saw this product and knew I had to order it right away. We went for a walk after I put the Kurgo on, made easy fit adjustments, and put it on her. instant, and I do mean instant. Her whole attitude changed, she walked easily, she no longer pulled and whenever I shortened the lead, she automatically heeled. There was a noticeable difference between her bark and that of the neighbors because she didn't give off a "crazy dog" vibe.
