Questions & Answers

Can you tell me if this is padded?

The top of the cushion has extra padding. Walking collar that is neither a collar nor a leash.

Is there a size chart in the listing? If there are different sizes, it would be very helpful to see one, which does not appear here. ?

It is recommended that you measure your pup's girth to determine the right size. To find out the pup's size, wrap a tape measure around the widest part of the chest. Dogs come in all This results in a unique fit for each. By comparing the measurements of the individual first and then the weight range second, it is easier to fit them properly.

Is it a Holt training halter or a Walk n' Train halter I'll be receiving?

During my time at the Walk n' Train, I was the conductor. This is a wonderful collar for our bloodhounds, and I love the idea that it attaches to their regular collar, giving me peace Because of the cold weather in Central Illinois, I haven't had a chance to use it nearly as much as I would like. However, the one time that we did get to take both bloodhounds out for a walk we found that it In addition to a couple of walks with the head halter, I truly feel that the entire pulling issue will be resolved. It is important to read the instructions and know you must be careful not to jerk the collar too hard as this could damage the collar and cause damage to your dog's neck and back. Please accept my recommendation and I am looking forward to using this product. Thanks, Lori.

I'm very pleased with the product
5/5

From my perspective, this is 5 stars all the way. What's a nice way of putting it is, one of my dogs. The devil. In comparison to my little Lucifer, my other two are like angels. As a pup, he ate two of my steering wheels, my mom's steering wheel, shoes, and half of a wall. His name is Timber and he is a boxer mix. Assholish ways have not faded enough for him to grow out of them, so this is a fantastic halti. When I put it on, I just attach it to the attached collar and I usually just let the muzzle part hang off of it, unless he decides he wants to scream bloody murder to It is mainly for him to walk more easily, he has a pull collar, but that does not do anything, so I wanted to find out what it would do. There must be something with pulling that he dislikes about being walked by his face. Perhaps no dog likes to be walked by his head. However, it also works well as a muzzle. Despite being a sweetheart, he has a habit of yelling at everyone's dog and scaring people walking their dogs, and I thought this would work well for that purpose as well, and of course, it does. We give Timber's nails a trim every couple of weeks. He's taken to nipping me when I try to do so, so I put this on while trimming his nails and found that he was making unholy noises. My dog seemed to be possessed by a demon as I was exorcising him. - "(This has happened since he was a puppy, I don't know why but I love him and he's a good dog, when he's not being a demon) I love this Halti it can be used for so many different things and does wonders. Recommend on the highest level.

It is the best head collar available on the market
5/5

Compared to other products on the market, this one is the best. This collar has an extra strap that ensures the collar stays on the dog's head regardless of the dog's behavior - I had tried other head collars before. It does not matter how you size the collar as long as it fits. The safety strap is the only part of the leader that comes off the nose. The mannerisms of my dog (6 month old Labrador retriever) have completely changed since she started pulling towards people. Because she knows she won't be able to look the way she wants when she starts pulling, she stays right next to me. Walking my pulling puppy caused me a lot of pain due to a shoulder injury. This has saved me a lot of time and effort. Truly, this is one of the most popular dog products on the market. Contrary to other (gentle) leaders, she will not be able to pull it off no matter what she does. Labrador Retriever is 6 months old, and she weighs 54 pounds, so the medium fits her with almost the maximum adjustments, but the large is more comfortable. The nose strap on the large is wider and more padded. Even if you're in between sizes, you should be fine buying either size since there can be a lot of adjustments.

Although I love it, my dog is utterly disgusted by It is hard to break the habit of pulling on the leash for my 72lb golden doodle who is good to listen, but can't stop pulling on the I find this to be particularly problematic on hikes and runs
5/5

Since buying this leader, he no longer pulls. We no longer travel without it, since it was a great turn around for us. It is absolutely essential that they have a gentle leader on even when they take short walks around the block. Despite using it every single day for almost a year now, Dorb gets excited when he sees it come out because he knows he's going out, but he still swipes at his nose while we're out walking and running. His nose often irritates him when he walks, and occasionally he'll swat it with the back of his paw. I'm not sure if it is due to itch or if he simply doesn't like the way it feels. Even though this is incredibly frustrating when we are running, it is a small price to pay to not have to fight with a 72lb, 3-year-old dog with enthusiasm, aggression, and headstrongness. This is definitely a great purchase.

Works like a charm! This product worked so well for me that I couldn't even believe it
5/5

Even though just three days have passed, the results so far have been fantastic. Take control of your head, and you will be in control of your Then you must make sure your dog is properly fitted. We had a bit of a failure on the first day because he didn't have anything on his mouth, so I just slapped it on and he kept picking at it the entire The only time he fell out of it was when we met another do, but I was to blame for that since I had not fitted The second day I tuned the collar properly, ensuring it didn't have too much give. I then slipped the nose portion over (after a brief struggle) and clicked the collar closed, and then I adjusted the nose collar so he could keep his mouth open It was great to see him barely pulling on the second walk. It didn't seem too hard to put on his muzzle after the third day and he did not have any trouble with it. This is a really good product in general.

I've gotten it to work! Using this with my 1 year old German Shepherd, who could pull me wherever he wanted and who wanted to chase cars, was a breeze
3/5

I love how it works! Before I owned this brand the nose strap eventually broke as my dog pulled harder, but the problem was the harder he pulled, the more it went towards A halter like this does not allow the wearer to do so it actually prohibits The durability and sturdiness of this product (the last one was weaker and lighter) and comfort are also 5 stars It gets 5 stars from me- There are dog fights in Although it can eat, drink, and bark, it cannot carry out any predatory behavior. For dogs that are strong, I highly recommend this. The review has been updated! I turned my rating from a 5 to 1 after leaving the first comment. It was a good buy for me to get When I used it for the first time, it was great, but when I used it for the second time, the stitching came apart. I notified Amazon, and they sent me a replacement. Using the second one I purchased, it has lasted a week, with the screw with the lock having popped out and the lock being long eaten away. It worked great this time, did not notify Amazon this time. Received the replacement from the first one, have used it 5 times, no problems, it was just as good as the first one. My stitching started coming apart again today when I tried to put it on! In spite of the fact that my dog will pull, he has a handle on his harness, so I will be able to keep his attention if he wants something badly enough. In other words, he is not restrained by this. This is more of a polite reminder to keep his hands on the wheel.

We don't need to pull anymore
5/5

I think it's awesome! Having a lab mix with a German Shepherd that loves to pull is something I look forward to every day. I have never experienced anything like this before! To any owner of a dog that loves to pull, I would recommend this product. When she first got here, this girl would choke herself so hard that the body harness wasn't strong enough to hold her. Although it took a bit for her to get used to, it makes her much more calm when she has it on, and I really can't recommend Seeing her in that way makes her look a bit intimidating as well, but I'd rather have that than be dragged.
