It's funny because we just used our crate for our flight to Portugal, and it's a big pad. can accommodate a large crate For our trip to Portugal on July 12, 2105, we cut oues in half for our medium crate, which held our two toy schnauzers.
The pet will not be shipped in a box. All you'll need to put your cage together are the items listed below. Any size transport kennel can be used with this kit. Are you referring to the box in which the items are shipped? It was a small, nicely packaged box for that, but I don't recall the exact dimensions.

When I had to transport a friend's dog to Guam, I ordered this kit. It arrived in just over two weeks thanks to expedited shipping. The kit includes everything you'll need to comply with airline regulations, and the checklist included made shipping the dog as easy as possible. Because their dry fur pad is quite large, I folded it in half and stitched three sides, leaving one side open for her pillow or cushion. When I checked in the dog, most of the items, such as the bolt, ziplock for documents, and cable ties, were available upon request, so if you're looking for a cheap airline kit, get the basic package, which includes just the bowls, dry fur pad, and whatever else you need. Before making any purchases, I strongly advise you to contact your airline carriers to confirm their requirements and what they can provide for free upon request. br>The bowls are spill-proof, but I froze the water the night before so that the bed stays dry and the dog has cold water to drink if the weather warms up on her way to Guam. After they finished weighing the bowl, I attached it to her kennel.
This is a fantastic product for traveling with pets on airplanes. From the United States to the United Kingdom, I transported my cats. The set's hardware assured me that the crates were securely fastened. There were plenty of labels to go around the crate because they were bold and large. Everything in the pack was just right for what we needed, and the animals arrived safely.
When I arrived at Alaska Airlines Cargo Shipping with my three cats in three carriers, the employees began to inquire about the live animal stickers and metal screws. Other items include metal fasteners, food and water dishes, and other similar items. "You already have them," they'd say. I had also placed the "Fur Dry" pads beneath the fleece sleep pads for the cats' comfort, and I was able to inform the airline employees that Amazon sells a product that includes EVERYTHING a pet owner needs to ship their pets. When I called to make my reservations for my cats, the reservation agent informed me that people frequently inquire about where they can get the necessary shipping supplies for their pets. I also informed him that Amazon sells a product that contains EVERYTHING he requires. Thank you for alleviating one of my concerns about transporting my three cats to Hawaii!.
I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the items. I didn't have high expectations based on the photos, but I was pleasantly surprised. I almost kept them for myself, but I don't think I'll need them for a few years, so I'll order them again. When I placed my order, the seller stated that it would arrive in a few weeks, but they arrived much sooner. I also wanted to mention that returning them was a simple and quick process.
These were purchased for a cross-country trip. The country is on the move. Everything we could possibly require was present, as well. After our 5-hour flight, we didn't need the stickers, food pouches, zip ties, or the pads, which had mostly disintegrated and were just a ball. If you're not used to flying with your dogs, having all of these items and not needing them may be preferable to needing them and not having them.
We have a chattery, which was ideal for shipping a kitten across the country by plane. It includes everything you'll need to meet airline requirements, as well as a few extras.
This was a fantastic kit, but I think I would have been better off taking a different path. The dishes are of excellent quality, the ziplock bags were extremely useful, and I keep his crate's nametag on it even when he's not at home. Trips to different cities The hardware was the most important item, but some of the bolts wouldn't fit on the provided screws, so I had to go out and buy wingnuts to replace them, and the Live Animal stickers were unnecessary because the airline provided them.
Check with your airline to see if any special items are needed. Always double-check your airline's requirements for crating your pet in manifest cargo before flying. Most airlines will require different crate locks, as well as a special water bottle instead of the water bowl (South African Airways) or a funnel attached to the outside of the crate to make pouring water easier. Check it out well in advance of your flight! Also, once the water and food dishes are attached to the door, make sure your pet can use them. The food bowl was too deep for my "toothless" Yorkie's nose and mouth, so she couldn't use it. So I put a small round plastic container inside the food bowl (tight fit, so it didn't fall out), and that helped. Other reviewers suggested freezing water in the water bowl overnight to keep it from sloshing out.
