This product met my expectations in every way. There is enough firmness in the foam to provide a safe feeling under the cover. Our little guy loves the fact that the steps are angled down a bit because he can see where he's going. This is a thoughtful and creative piece. A nice texture on his hands makes him grip nicely. Our dog was terrified of another stair that has a metal structure and a sagging, slippery cloth cover. Dogs who are older find it easy to use

It was surprising when I received the shrink roll delivery system, but a half hour later, the heat had relaxed the steps to enable me to apply the cover. I found it impossible to put the cover on once the unit was fully relaxed, but I managed with no problem by slipping it on before the unit was fully relaxed. We were surprised to see how quickly our elderly dog took to these even though he had trouble navigating the steps we had purchased for him years ago. As long as he knows how to get up from his ottoman bed, he can get up easily. There is a Chihuahua in the house-- The number is between 7 and 8. The dogs of this breed seem to like being raised off the ground, and they weigh about 70 pounds. found this out after watching a show on how to dig. We moved the bed from the end of the sofa to the end of the beautiful bed we had bought! It was a great place for him!.

The mini dachshund puppy loves these stairs better than the more common hard stairs because they are easier for him to navigate and take up less space on my couch. He does not jump up to the bed anymore, because everything is so easy. As for inclines, I did not want real "steps" and most of them He can easily walk up and down these rounded steps. Currently, he is able to go up and down without any difficulty. Irrespective of the price, we might get another one.
