Sometimes I just let my kitten hang out in it just for fun and she seems to enjoy it a lot. I don't know how big it really is. In the bag is space for another kitten at the same time because my kitten is 5 pounds. Taking a pet to the vet is convenient with this carrier. Your flattening feature is very impressive - I really appreciate that feature. It's so hard to find room for the plastic carriers. While it does not have a lot of floor space, it is perfect for our cat to curl up in when she needs to. The seat is very comfortable, but what we appreciate most about it is that she can sit up without having to bend her head and that seems to keep her calm. The straps are padded and adjustable, and they can be used on either side. If you need to bring treats or other light items as well, slip pockets on the sides are convenient.

The cat didn't run away from the carrier as it usually does when it sees it, but climbed into it and took a nap when I put it on the floor. Since I can now easily handle carrying two cats to the vet instead of carrying a cat carrier in each hand, I am able to do that without any hassle.
