The food we carried will last us for four to five days on a hike with our dog (60lbs). The amount of dog food I would use would be 8 cups. My recommendation, however, would be to buy dense and small packs of dog food in the form of "tubes." We supplement with some dog food and treats (don't know how many times she gets a tube). find them at any store that sells dog food. This pack will fit not only the food but also the bones and snacks, as well as a collapsible
It is quite deep chested but the belly is quite small in my boxer. It may be opposite to the way you handle your goats, but I would just like to point out that each strap is adjustable and, depending on the size of your goat's belly, I think you'll have no issues.
In a similar way, we also encountered difficulties. I had a dog that fit exactly in a medium and a small size. I think we made the right choice by choosing the medium. Since I have the ability to tighten the pack more easily than I can increase its size, I thought it was better to do so. Furthermore, we enjoy being a part of a family! Getting a dog is the best thing we've ever done.
As far as rubbing is concerned, I haven't had any problems. Additionally, my dog has a long, thick coat of fur that probably makes things easier for him. Providing it has been adjusted and loaded correctly, I do not think there will be a problem.

Despite its small size, the pack is very well made and fits well. In my opinion, it meets the expectations of a decent backpack for human hikers. My zippers are holding up, the straps aren't slipping off on their own, and the D ring has stood up to some serious pulling (damn chipmunks! ). I have also been able to pick up my dog with the handle on the back when I have used the bag. If I maintain an even distribution of weight between the contents, the pack stays pretty balanced. There are no significant balance issues even when she is running through brush and trees. It fit perfectly when I ordered it for my 45lb Australian Shepherd. I followed the recommended measurements. Whenever my pack gets wet and dirty, I wait until it dries, and when it does, the dirt brushes off and I'm back to being clean. We will be able to use the bags when we go camping this summer and fall because of their spaciousness. *Edit
As of today, I have used this pack for over a year and I am still loving In spite of brush, water, and snow, everything about it has held up well. We had no problems with the zippers, the lifting strap, the buckles or the D ring. The idea of buying another pack is not appealing to me.
It is difficult to balance the weight of the pack within the pockets. If the pack is not calibrated perfectly, it constantly shifts to one side or the In other words, if I didn't have an even number of bottles or a weight to distribute, I'd be stuck when my GSD drinks a bottle of water. A pack that is out of balance keeps falling down one side of a dog when its side pockets are full. I can't bear to see my 100 lb GSD suffering like this.
He was energetic, unmannered, and totally goofy despite being a shepherd mix. My wife and I spent four days camping in the Adirondacks nearly a week ago. It is a small that fits her because she is around 47 lbs. During our trip, we tested out the bag before going on a trip and were surprised at how many things we could fit in it There were also four cans of beans in the package Even so, she did not seem to be slowed She carried mostly water, snacks, and poo in her backpack while we were camping. It is unnecessary to say that she helped us get I have a second brand pack for my golden retriever -- Compared to this mix, this one is more sturdy. I am very happy with my decision to go with There are several years we will be able to use this pack for camping trips. Please accept my sincere apologies for the following This was her first trip, and she did well! It was a pleasure to paddle the canoe as well! If you're looking for a dog friend, adopt rather than shop!.
I do not think small is so This would appear to be a great quality pack, but if you own a small dog, you may want to be aware. The 15th century You DO NOT have to apply the sizing instructions if you weigh between 18lb and 30lb. I have a Border Terrier with a weight of 15lbs and a chest size of An inch and a half I have exactly what is written in the X Although the bag looks huge on her and the straps were all taken into the bag, the chart is small. A reorder has been placed for x- There is no problem with it being small. Now that the straps are let out the full distance, it is perfect. There's something magical about these items.
The dogs love them. When she is not wearing it, she is content to plod along for a walk. Her tail wags wildly as she stands on her toes wearing the pack, all proud as if she is telling everyone, "Look at me!" You can see I have a backpack on! I thought that was hilarious. I would like to thank Amazon for making the exchange so simple.
This backpack is so awesome that my Boxer (and I) love it! It is what we use each time when we go hiking or when we walk every day to keep her busy. She is able to carry everything she needs for our day hikes except her car keys because the bag has large pockets. In the past, it's even helped me pack her clothes and all the things she needs on vacation. Because all of the straps are adjustable, getting your torso in the correct position can take some time. In spite of this, deep chested people sometimes find it hard to succeed The more adjustable it is, the better it will fit your dog. It even allowed us to bring one of her puppy friends along on a long walk, when used with the appropriate counterbalance.
A great backpack for your dog! spent a long time researching before I finally decided to buy this one, mainly because the price was too high. The pack was well worth the money I spent on it. It was impossible to get the correct fit from the cheaper versions at the local pet stores since they moved around too much. It is only 1 year old but it measures 31 inches and weighs 84 pounds. He is too small for the large/xl size but he can mature and fill it out until he is 2. He says that the space is great for him and that he can expand when he needs to. As a result of tightening the strap, the extra material from it was tucked into the padded area, so there was first, he tried to shake it off, but it didn't move or slide Despite its constant attachment, he can still go for a run, a walk, sit, or lay comfortably wearing it. There is a lot of space in the bags! It almost seems like there is too much room in this camper but for hikers or day trippers, this is a good setting. The bags do not flop around too much or look too saggy as I thought they would. I read a review in which it was stated that this didn't work for male dogs, but as long as the belt is fitted to flush with his belly, the puppy can urinate normally without getting some pee on the belt. Thick and rugged materials without being heavy feel good on the hand. Having an orange dog makes it stand out from the others that are mostly black. The dog backpack is a great purchase overall, and I would definitely recommend it.
