We have filled this with ice and water, but we have never frozen any water in it.
In the original case, we use There are two 6 liter bladders in each of the side pouches, with extra space in each. There is a possibility that you could fit a 1 liter bladder in each pouch, but I am not certain.
The top clip on the dog's back is the only thing that is visible in this picture.
The construction of this would not be suitable for an animal that pulls a lot. With this pack, the dog is able to carry all of its own belongings however, my reactive dog uses a separate collar since she's unstable.

On Mondays and Wednesdays, we hike and trail run with 6 dogs each day The dogs need lots of water rain or shine, and in summertime I will have to carry lots of water for the dogs which can cause me back problems. It is my practice to carry my 80lb Labradoodle every day and I want him to share some of the weight. The first time I saw this pack, I thought it was perfect! As with previous packs, this one didn't shift on his back from one side to the other, which was helpful. However, after a few hikes I noticed that the straps were severely chaffing his poor little 'arm pits' of his front legs. As I said, the spots were red and raw, and I was not able to keep them. There could have been something with my dog or the way it fit his body, but I was pretty upset. Despite the small flaws in the design, the water bladders included appear to be functional. We also have another harness from Ruff Wear that we've had for years now and it's still going strong, so I know the quality of the stuff is very good. Sorry to say, it was not a good fit.
It's nice to be able to have water readily available during our A hydration pack of this size is perfect for fitting poop bags, a water bowl, my keys, wallet, and a water bowl. glad I opted for this hydration pack instead of a larger pack, which after thinking about it, I realized is overkill for neighborhood walks. This harness is so convenient because it allows me to easily grab her poop bag or water bottle out of it. Her body fits really well in it. This harness is fairly inconspicuous, as you can see in the picture. My dog has long fur occasionally, and other harnesses seem to get caught in it, but she's able to wear this one quite comfortably. When my dog gets too excited in a crowded place, I like the handle on top so much that it makes things so much easier to handle.
Summer is right around the corner, so I'm also pleased that I can add a few water-based ingredients The underside of the cooler You can download the attachment! believe that concept is BRILLIANT and I can tell this company is run by people who care deeply about their pets, and want to provide them with as much comfort In addition to the elastic, padding on the straps, as well as the partially-padded parts of the bag Ruffwear seems to have taken into account the dog's comfort with the enclosed clasp. Thank you. One thing I might change is the color of the bed. Rather than being a dull red, it is more of a bright Superman There should have been a bit of a violet/maroon tint- Not at all what I thought it would be. I would buy it again in a heartbeat if they made it in burnt orange. I guess we'll start with Ruffwear. If you ever encounter that issue, let me know.
This is an excellent way to make your dog feel like he has a job if you have a working dog. The cow dog collar fits particularly well on my cattle dog, who seems to like wearing My weight has not prevented me from doing some technical trails we run in Hawaii, and my abilities as a trail runner have not been affected by it. Since I usually carry the water with me, the pack should not overheat him but it should give him a challenge, something you need when you have an energetic dog like a blue heeler. I think the simple design will be easy for him to carry. There are only a few things I would change about This is the medium dog I bought, and he weighs 40 lbs. He kinda dangles the excess strap after fitting it to him, and the strap gets dirty and gets caught in the crossfire when he goes to the bathroom. There should be some kind of Velcro or something so that the excess strap can be tucked away.
Together with my Belgian Malinois, I've traveled all over the United States in this pack. We carry our own water when hiking long distances, and the handle makes it easier for me to assist him when we're traversing deep water or rocky You're the best.
This dog harness is dependable (I have three of them), and they have lasted for almost a decade through hiking trips and car rides (I use them as a car harness because the seatbelt goes through the handle at the The harness that accompanied it belonged to my previous dog, so I only had to buy this harness for my new dog. The one he has ordered is for me. platypus water bladder is included with the item, so you get two for free. These pockets are large enough to hold the bladders and a collapsible bowl, as well as extra treats and leashes. Aside from the design, I also love the color. A small change has been made to the size. I'd say it was a size S/M on the older harness I had. A size S fits my dog (a 50# English Pointer) barely, but I have to return it. After exchanging it for a medium, I finally got what I wanted. I have a lab that weighs 50 pounds, but he wears a Large due to his broad shoulders.
This is a great pack for hikes on a hot day where there is no water Despite their large capacity, the packs do not hold more. My backpacks were full with an empty water bottle in each pocket, then I put a slice of apple, a roll of poop bags, and a folded pet bowl in each bag. In spite of not using the leash hooks as leashes, I used them to link the dogs when they had to go single file and thus tie to the trail.
