Questions & Answers

Is there a difference in size between the pouches?

It's not like the pouches are She can put water and snacks in it, as well as a few of our belongings. Our dog was a large sheepdog who did not like to go to the bigger medical practices, since they carried more equipment. A vest like this one is shorter for her and very comfortable.

The 230 pound weight of my english mastiff makes me doubt if it will fit my giant bred k9. What makes you think that he is so much bigger than a St. Bernard?

The chain I was using for the neck strap of my dog weighs 168 pounds, and I had to replace it with a belt I had (I used to wear my Additionally, the chest strap probably won't fit your dog either (it's too tight on my dog right now and it's sagging all the way out on mine). This will result in an overly large rib cage in your dog. You should have no problem fitting the belly strap (since it's extra long and really doesn't need to be so long). However, they will definitely be too small for your dog on the other two straps.

Can a 40lb Queensland heeler use this?

mix, who is about 50 pounds, and is about 44 inches tall. As the straps were too long, I cut and burned the ends of them. Provides adequate supplies to run a 3-person event Trip to the mountains for 4 days

There is a German Shepherd puppy in my family. The weight of the boy right now is 40 pounds. Does he have enough room to fit into it now and then keep wearing it as he grows?

This seems like a good choice, but the short answer is that weight isn't as useful as measured chest size. On the front of the pack are loops through which there are 2 adjustable straps and a removable collar. There is a maximum diameter on the straps of Therefore, if you take a piece of yarn something and wrap it around the back of your dog just behind his front legs near the armpit, and do the same about 8" behind that spot, you'll be able to get those two measurements for the whole There is about three or four inches of adjustment left on the chest strap for my dog who has a 29" chest. Between the ages of 20 and 25 This section/belly is snug up to the maximum and has enough room to keep it comfortable for two fingers. As unlikely as it might seem, he could grow into it. However, you'd need to measure him now to determine whether it'd work for him. The plus side is that dogs grow rapidly at that age. Consequently, even if it's a bit loose on the inside today, it should fit nicely

Your dog will carry his own waste if you enslave him
5/5

If you want to take your dog hiking or camping, then this backpack is your best friend. If I go hiking with my dog, I'm carrying more often than not my food, his food, water, lash, poop bags, and toys as if they were his personal items. I am walking too slowly up hills while a 70lb pitbull and husky mix, who is completely capable of carrying his own potty, looks down on me. He gets tired when I get tired because of this backpack now. The reason I make him carry his own stuff is because I am making him do it. It occurred to me that your endurance wasn't as good as you thought it would be,.

Item of great quality
5/5

I can fit my 55 pound medium size lab in this bag. Item of great quality. This vest fits perfectly with my medium size lab (55 lbs), which is 55 lbs. Her gear is neatly tucked away in many pockets. The balance of the piece is excellent The line stays in place and the focus remains on the goals.

The design is nice, but the build quality is way too weak
4/5

This pack was perfect for taking our goldendoodle, who weighs in at about 50 pounds, for several hikes. Her suit fit well, it sat well, and it looked good on her. Unfortunately, as others have already mentioned, the stitching/quality of this piece is not up to snuff. Halfway through the hike, it broke down on our third or fourth hike. As it was, the seams were just falling apart by the end of the hike. This is close to an excellent product, therefore, I give it three stars. I believe that it needs to be improved in terms of quality. *Edit
The rating has been updated The OneTigris team contacted me and sent me an updated version of the software. There are a few ways in which quality can be improved. Here are a few highlights This bag's stitching seems higher quality
* Pockets seem more durable and there are more of them. There is a transparent ID card pocket as well. This pack has mesh padding inside, which really helps to keep the pouch in place and has a better feeling for the dog. The original included a couple things that were not in the revised copy, which is kind of unfortunate Back of this watch does not contain a D ring. For hiking with a pet on a leash, it's a problem. The top is not equipped with a handle. Having this problem becomes problematic if I have to assist my dog during a difficult scramble or if we have to hold back the dog because of something like chasing a squirrel. The reprints are pretty decent on the whole. Though there are better, this gets about 85% of the job done. In spite of the two cons I mentioned, I really like the pack and for now will use it as my go-to.

My bag was defective because the manufacturer sold it to me knowing it was defective
3/5

So, it's nice, but I do have a complaint.
When the dog and I were walking up a mountain, one of the bags straps came undone The experience wasn't fun at all. My initial purchase of the bag that was sold to me was defective to start with, and the company knew it and tried to hide it. As you can see in the pictures, the one that ripped was stitched back together in the past. The green thread is clearly visible as a single-strand The broken strap has been reattached by stitching the broken section. This green thread was used instead of the white It is ONLY on the strap that broke as shown in the other picture, and How could that one stitch patch job possibly hold? According to the item description, this was, supposedly, brand new. As a result It is obvious that they sold me a sub-par product The defective bag has been fixed. Since then, it has been permanently fixed. I believe it will work, despite its ugly appearance. In spite of this, I feel a bit cheated since they sold me a defective bag that they tried to hastily and shoddily conceal.

I am amazed
5/5

She has been pulling me since she was a puppy. I tried a harness first, but it was a failure that made it easier for him to grab my arm. After that, I bought a leader that would be easy to handle. He found that it was an excellent product that worked, but he still had some bad moments caused by distractions. Since I put this pack on him and told him he now has a job, is like there is an invisible wall that keeps him from walking past me and he doesn't even try to pull or mark shrubs This is a 6 out of 5 star rating.

I really appreciate your efforts
5/5

The product is well made and fits perfectly. It has a very sturdy, well-built design, allowing for a very long life-cycle. Product that is well made. The canvas has some heft to it and is a nice A stitching issue did not arise. As well as the zipper pulls, I appreciate the oversize look. With gloves on etc. it should be quite useful in winter. We have already put about ten miles on it in different kinds of terrain since getting it the other day. passed through thick brush, hardwood stands, and easy to follow trails. We followed washed-out creek beds, climbed steep embankments, and went up and down steep embankments. Despite a number of challenges, the pack excelled across the board. There is no shifting at all in the pack. The image is centered on his back just as it should be. Even though I had equal weight on both sides (canned goods), I did not lift any heavier. In my dog's case, he did not exhibit any signs of discomfort, no tugging or pulling after the first 50 feet or so. He didn't even glance back after that. When he wore the hat, he seemed more focused and became a more obedient As a trained guide dog, he is trained to walk to my left and not to walk ahead of me, however he has a tendency to become distracted and wander about a foot too far. One observation he made while wearing his pack was that he did not need to be reminded. It has been quite remarkable to see whether "having a job" has improved The dog I bought it for is an Airedale Terrier and has a deep chest with a narrow waist and a slender neck, so I was concerned about whether or not it would fit properly. This pack is nearly maxed out on his chest and waist (the waist adjustment is very tight), while it is almost maxed out on the waist. His neck, however, is fine. I wanted to provide some reference measurements with photos to assist Despite the fact that there is footage of a dog on the product page, you cannot learn anything about this dog from those photos. The chest of my dog is 29" in diameter across the shoulder blades and just behind his armpits. He is 24" at the shoulder and 29" wide at the chest. There is no difference in weight between him and me. As he is only 2, there is likely some filling out to do, so the straps can be a good length. My last thought is that I use a martingale collar underneath the ear on all of our excursions, training sessions, etc. I did not use the ring I use to attach the pack to the collar, and I have no intention of using this In that case, it might be easier to just buy a harness. At the moment, we do not engage in any activities that require him to walk in front of me (scent tracking, sled pulling, etc). In other words, we walked side by side to see how it works. In summary, it is clearly designed for use as a backpack, not as There are other products you may wish to consider if you want your dog to be dragged behind them by a harness.
