How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Because we understand that some pets are more sensitive to sound, our electronic pet training mat features a 5-level beep mode. As an alternative to Static mode, choose between 90 and 110 decibels when training a cat or small dog.
Static, Beep, or Static Beep mode are the three training modes available. All modes have five levels of intensity, allowing you to comfortably train any size cat or dog. Can be used to prevent dogs and cats from scratching the couch and doors; to create a pet barrier for the home; to keep pets off the bed and counter; and to keep animals off your vehicle.
Pet Safe Smart Protection: The Static mode is automatically disabled if the control unit detects a pet, child, or conductive material on the training mat for more than 5 seconds. Training functions are automatically restored when they are cleared or vacated.
Improved efficiency and durability by upgrading the static detection line from a single thread design to a new 5-thread system. A higher density of detection lines ensures efficiency and durability in the face of pet nail damage.
Long Battery Life: A single 209V battery (not included) lasts up to 90 days on standby due to improved and more efficient electrical design. A single 209V battery (not

Questions & Answers

I have children and was wondering if the dog would be shocked if they walked or sat on the mat. ?

They like to jump up and drink water from the sink, so I keep a mat in front of it at all times. I put them down but also made them a cozy little corner with towels and a little cup of water beside it and they're very happy I stand on the mat and do not get shocked but if I touch it with my fingers it will shock me it is a very light shock it's just more of a quick reaction than anything else it doesn't hurt it's just kind of scary at first but it definitely k I stand on the mat and do not get shocked but if I touch it with my fingers it will I really like them.

Is it possible to change the volume of the sound?

In both Beep Mode and Static Beep, the sound can be adjusted. There are five adjustable levels to choose from, ranging from 90 to 110 decibels.

The mat will be placed on my couch. Is it possible for me to sit on the mat if I turn it off?

You may sit on it, I suppose. but why? It's possible that you'll damage the mat's wiring.

What is the battery's life expectancy?

The standby time of a single 9V battery (not included) is up to 90 days.

YAY! This mat made a significant difference in our lives
5/5

When you have a cat who won't leave anything alone while you're trying to sleep, you'll understand what I'm talking about. I'd never heard of these mats before, so I decided to give them a shot. Every. single. Our cat used to scratch at the barn doors to our closet at night. I tried squirting water, sprinkling red pepper, and tossing pillows around. You're probably familiar with the procedure. This mat only took one night to work on one closet door! Then we moved it to the other, which required a slight increase in volume, but that is no longer an issue. We've been using the same battery for nearly two months and have had it on every night. This makes me very happy. BTW, don't do what my husband and I did and turn it on the highest setting while saying "does it work?" IT WORKS. LOL.

We weren't able to use it because it didn't fit our needs
3/5

We were unable to make it work. I have nine cats and want to keep them off the kitchen counter as much as possible. I wish the mats were a little bit shorter and a little bit wider. These are suitable for use as a sofa, but they are too long to be used as counters. The beep is ineffective in keeping them away. They will jump on it and stay on it the entire time it beeps! I had it set to the loudest setting, and two of my cats decided to lay down on it and keep it beeping! The humans are terrified, but they are not! br>br>I set the shock level to the lowest possible. Nothing. Second highest, it shocks them for a second, and they sort of back up, but they've all learned that if they step carefully, they won't be shocked. Sigh . Cats are incredibly intelligent creatures.

We were able to accomplish more in a few seconds than we had been able to accomplish in weeks
5/5

We have a 60-pound lab/border collie mix puppy who is sweet, gentle, and extremely intelligent, but she suffers from boredom at home and has resorted to tearing things up when left alone. She's still a puppy, after all. That is what they do. She's made up her mind that our bed is hers - However, only when we are not present. When she's bored, she'll even shred the pillows, shams, and comforter on the bed. We let her use other pieces of furniture, and she has her own bed next to ours, but we were having trouble with her - It took a lot of work to repair all of the damage - We'd even discussed rehoming her at one point. In our house, it's been a dreadful week. We've been trying to get her off the bed for several weeks now. Her dog door is in our master bathroom, so she needs to be able to get into our room. She was on top of the game. These pads were a last-ditch attempt to fix the problem. We bought four of them. I wasn't sure how much protection we'd require - Before unwrapping the rest, she unrolled one on the floor to test it; she walked over it without causing any reaction - We increased the volume to higher levels, but there was still no response. She eventually came over and sat on the pad, and that was the end of it - She squeaked a little and bolted up. After that, she refused to touch the pad. We unrolled three of the four on our bed and turned on the two closest to the side she needed (her dog's crate prevents her from using the other two). After that, we went out to eat - The first pad had been disturbed when we arrived home, but the rest of the bed had not. They've been with us for four days. There will be no more climbing onto the bed. She raises her eyes to the sky - is aware of them - and immediately reverts to his previous position. Everything is in order.

When nothing else seemed to work, it did
5/5

Well, we have a particularly obstinate kitten who refuses to stop jumping on the counters. He has the rest of the house and plenty of toys to play with, but he's a foodie who can't seem to stay away from the kitchen counter! So we tried everything: water spray, sticky tape, spike mats, cat repellent sprays (2 types), pushing him away, and so on, but nothing worked. br>br>THIS HAS SO FAR WORKED FOR ME! Yay. It's been a few weeks, and he's pretty much stopped using the counter when the mat is on it. We have no choice but to keep it on, and it is currently set to the second setting. It's a pain to deal with because we had to cover the entire counter, making it difficult to use the kitchen and sink, but hopefully he'll get the message and simply stop. He's the tenacious cat I've ever met, and even the spike mats didn't deter him from jumping on them and enduring the unpleasant sensation on his feet. He is a large and heavy six-month-old kitten. We bought two mats and double-sided the ends to keep them from sliding off the counter. We used double-stick tape to hold the rubber dividers in place as well. Otherwise, he simply jumped up there, pushed it off the counter, and continued on his way. He is more compliant now that he has taped it down so it can't be pushed off. I just wish we had gotten it when he was younger, before he had the opportunity to develop bad habits. br>br>It folds up easily and can be left on the counter when he doesn't have access to the kitchen at night. So far, the batteries have held up well. br>br>I noticed someone mentioned that they had it for a few days and then it began beeping and wouldn't stop. That happened to us as well, but I discovered that the problem was caused by a small amount of water underneath the mat. Make sure the area is clean and dry before you begin. It worked perfectly again after I dried the water off and wiped the mat's bottom. br>br>In conclusion, a good product that worked when nothing else did, was simple to use, and was battery powered. Keep it clean and treat it gently. Everything should go smoothly.

Yes! These mats are fantastic! I have seven dogs, and they are all well aware that they should not be allowed on my furniture
4/5

I'm in the room right now. The issue is that they all jump up onto my furniture as soon as I leave the living room. While I was away, I couldn't get them to stay off my furniture. These mats have finally given me peace of mind that my dogs will not destroy my furniture while I'm gone. I have indoor cameras, and I've been keeping an eye on them to make sure they don't get on the furniture. They are startled by the beeping sound and immediately dive to the ground. The only issue I discovered is that it takes a little bit of walking around on the mat for it to activate. The detection of motion doesn't 100%. My 15-pound dog could walk for about 15 minutes on it. It took 20 seconds for it to turn on and beep. They are, however, performing precisely as I had hoped.
