I'm not sure, but it appears to be the case.
It might. It won't be pleasant for them to be on their feet.
The square sections aren't big enough to cover a typical couch cushion. Purchasing Xmats is a better option.

It was used to keep the cats away from the refrigerator. To make it work, I needed a couple of layers, which I zip tied together in the proper order. It was a lot more convenient than using the connectors that came with them. Get rid of those. To anchor it, I looped clear heavy-duty tape through the holes in each corner. br>It also works well as a dish drainer. I've been unable to locate a small one that does not obstruct my small counter. Underneath one of the squares, place a dish mat. It works, and you can continue to use all of the available space without having to store it. This also keeps the cats away from the counter.
These aren't particularly appealing, but the black color makes them less noticeable. It's definitely preferable to having your plants urinated on. I've discovered that after a while, the "new" fades and cats ignore the plants, allowing them to be removed and reused elsewhere. I'm hoping that by next season, I won't need to use them. Definitely a good value, easy to use, adjust, etc. I recommend it over any of the gimmick sprays, etc. I love my neighbors cats, and the ferals- I simply do not want them to spray on my newly planted gardens. These have proven to be an effective and compassionate deterrent. br>br>Strongly suggested. br>br>.
Perfect for indoor couches (dogs), outdoor furniture (cats), cribs or bassinets (cats). . . I don't hook mine together so that visitors can grab a square and toss it off the couch when they want to sit, or I can grab one out of the bassinet when I'm using it for the baby. There's no need to sit in a pile of fur any longer! It's incredibly light. Pets despise your furniture and will avoid it.
These are fantastic. My cats can't lay against the screens and pop them out, so I connect three of them together and place them upright in my windows. These don't stop me from getting air through my windows. They are fantastic! I also wanted to train my cats to stay away from my end table, so I placed them there as well. It only took one time for them to get off my table by jumping on them. I had considered shock-absorbing mats but didn't like the idea, so these were a good substitute.
So far, they've performed admirably! I put the majority of them on my couch and one on my counter, and they haven't knocked them off onto the floor, which I was worried about because they are fairly light weight, and they are staying off the couch as far as I know. They have a nice connection, in my opinion. I might buy some more to put on my kitchen counter, but I'd have to use some kind of double-sided adhesive to keep them from sliding off. My cats would probably jump up on the counter and swat them down to the floor.
We were unsure if this would work, but they did a fantastic job! We had a problem with chickens roosting on railings, steps, and car hoods. Poo is all over the place! These panels did not harm the chickens or cats, but they did keep them from wandering into areas where we didn't want them to. It's simple to use and has a lot of impact.
I was so happy to get these so I could let my cats out, that two of them immediately leapt over them. I was still excited, so I went out and bought another set, figuring I'd just enlarge it. They jumped over them as well. They'd be fantastic for keeping small critters in or out of things, in my opinion.
Raccoons not only walked all over it, but they also defecated on it. That was a complete squander of funds. I'm about to go out and buy some raccoon traps, then call the city to come pick them up once they've been caught.
