We have a 24-pound 17 1/2-year-old cat. I wasn't sure this one would work because we have three of the largest litter boxes on the market (we've even tried making our own), but IT DOES. He simply made use of it. He not only got inside the box, but he also made it out without stepping in urine. Because I'm so ecstatic, I'm about to do the happy dance. We've been using the PetFusion BetterBox for about a year, but as his arthritis has worsened, we've had to switch to a different model. He's becoming weaker as a result of kidney failure, and he's only been able to go in once. starting from the front Every time I took a step, I stepped in a pool of urine. This is fantastic. I have a 16-year-old cat, and I'm not sure why she's gone to the bathroom right outside the litter box. I've never had a problem with this in her entire life. When I told my mother about it, she reminded me that Kitty is getting older and may not be able to use regular litter boxes due to her arthritis. I wasn't sure because she can still jump up on lower items, but I did some research and discovered this, which was a miracle; She has returned to using the litter box. I thanked my mother and wrote this review because I'm glad someone is considering the needs of senior cats.

This is a box that my cat really enjoys. She has an arthritic back and is unable to lift her back legs over a litter box with a high side. For her, this is the ideal solution.

Our 10 pound bunny and his 4 pound wifey use it all the time because he couldn't get in and out of regular litterboxes or under the bed storage boxes, so this has been ideal for him. It's a good size, though we'll have to clean it a little more than usual. The product itself is fantastic, but considering it's a $40 plastic box for animals to poop in, I wish it was a little more affordable. I looked everywhere for a less expensive option, but I'm glad I went with this one. Overall, it's something I'd strongly suggest.

Our two elderly cats, who suffer from arthritis and kidney disease, were having trouble getting in and out of their high-sided box. They prefer the shape of this box a lot more! It's roomy and simple to enter and exit, and because it's shallow, I believe we'll save on litter. The material is the only stumbling block. The plastic beneath the litter has a rough texture and is difficult to clean. We clean their box with care; every time we clean pee out of it, we use alcohol and cotton pads to clean the bottom of the box where the clumped litter came into contact with the plastic. I've only had this box for a few days, but the bottom is a complete disaster. The stains will not come out when I rub them because of the textured material. As a result, while the concept is sound, the execution is lacking. Unfortunately, I don't think this will last very long.

Our nearly 17-year-old daughter year- It took a few days for an old cat with hind leg weakness due to illness to adjust to his new home - which had a low entry door, but not quite as low as this one - But now he only uses the new box 100% of the time. It isn just the low door that is so helpful - The reason for this is that the box is large enough that no part of a cat's body has to touch the sides, which can cause pain in some cats. Our other cat has started using it as well, despite the fact that she can easily get into the older box, so we're going to get a second one. Our veterinarian advised that we look for a box with a low door, and we'll tell her about this one.

I can't believe how wonderful of a litter box this is! My 10- Other boxes were just too high for her to step in and out of with ease, and she was having accidents outside the litter box, which was also too small for her to move around in comfortably, and this box is fantastic! yr old Siamese, who is METICULOUS about her potty and grooming habits, has some arthritis issues, and other boxes were just too high for her to step in and out of with ease, and she was having accidents outside the litter box, which was also too small for her to move She has had no issues with this box, and as others have stated, she has regained her dignity!
