Having this cat box for nearly a month now, I see no reason to replace it. My Maine Coon cat cannot use it with the lid on as it is not as big as it should be. I did find that it was just right for my smaller cat (9lbs). I decided to experiment with this trick because my big boy decided he was going to pee standing up and pee outside of his box. Due to the fact that I can't use it with the lid, I keep it next to the toilet so the cats can jump from the toilet seat into it. I guess it is working, just not the way I had Would like to see a larger version.
The reason I bought these is because they were affordable and I was hoping the top entry lid would reduce the amount of litter that makes its way onto the ground between the two of our cats.
