How Our Score Is Calculated

Questions & Answers

Is there a green color in the medium-sized box?

No, mine isn't green; the colors are exactly as shown in the image.

Is it possible to use it with unprocessed pine litter?

It should, in fact.

Is it possible to use pine litter?

I'm not familiar with Pine Litter, but any good clumping litter should suffice. It is necessary to compare a few different litters in your pan and for your cat in order to be certain of the best litter.

How long do you think you'll live?

There are four cats in our household. Once or twice a day, we empty it. The average life expectancy is 1. For us, it will be two years. When we change all of the litter and thoroughly clean it every six months, the inner plastic breaks. 8 weeks. br>br>However, the $40 investment was well worth it. We're on our third one, and we're thinking about getting one of the more expensive models to see if the plastic is more durable. The amount of time that has been saved is enormous.

Great product, lousy price
3/5

br>The exact same product/size is half the price at Petsmart online, with less confusion about the size of product you're ordering, since the amazon online link for this account occasionally has the larger box at a lower price. br>So I ended up buying the right sized box from Petsmart, and it's been great. Everything falls into the scoop when you tilt and roll it upside down. You must use hard clumping litter; otherwise, it will not work. Even so, there may be some mishaps with some stuck to the bottom; however, a vigorous thump when you turn it upside down should release it.

This isn't the one I asked for
5/5

It is, however, an Omega Paw. * Note; My new Omega Paw arrived yesterday. It wasn't the one I had requested. It will have to suffice because I am unable to return it. As a result, I'm disappointed. Also, the order was placed on June 16, 2019, and it has now been fulfilled on June 26, 2019. Now that that's out of the way, here's my take on the Omega Paw Self-Defense System. Cleaning the litter box is simple. I already own two and have placed an order for a third. Just to make my cat's life easier. He is a more mature individual. Keep in mind that clumping litter is required. And only a few inches in the bottom are required. Slow down your pace. up to the very top Then retrace your steps until you see the litter reappearing. This item is very effective. There are some that have been upgraded. I did, however, want them to be identical. Don't forget to empty the trash can and clean the entire box once a month. A happy cat has a clean litter box.

It's small, but it appeals to my cat
5/5

I was concerned that it would be too dark inside, but my cat prefers the small Omega Paw to the larger Omega Paw I purchased a few months ago for another area of the house (yes, I have a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, two-litterbox home). To roll it sideways, then back up, then past upright (to get all the remaining litter to fall back where it belongs), the cleaning process takes up about 5 linear feet of floor space. It's a pain to remove the top with all of its locking sliders to dump old litter and pour in a new bag of litter. With the top on, it's impossible to do it. Regular clumping litter is very heavy to roll, but the lighter crystal litter leaves the pee behind and smells more quickly. Have you tried the 20 lighter Arm yet? I haven't tried hammering clumping litter yet, but I'm hoping it will solve both issues. In addition, the cat enjoys throwing litter outside. A carpet or mat will keep some litter from escaping, but not all. I haven't found any mats with a foldable lip that allows me to pour the litter back in without removing the top, but I believe that is what is required. Still. Scooping is a dreadful experience, but rolling is far less so.

It's a great concept, but it's a bit of a pain to implement I had high hopes for this low-cost sept scooping litter box, but I was cautiously optimistic
3/5

My two cats, one of whom will completely destroy the box every time she uses it, are mine. br>It was a breeze to put together. Does it keep odors at bay? Yes. However, I found the process of tilting/rolling the box over to fill the scoop to be inconvenient. It's also difficult to refill the box without taking off the lid! I bought the medium box and was able to fill it with litter from a small 8lb box, but I quickly discovered that pouring the litter into the opening without spilling it on the floor required tilting the box all the way back. then take a step forward before landing on your feet again. The litter was then uneven on the inside. I tried using the included scoop, but it took too long to get to the litter. Because I had thrown away our other litter scoop, I had no choice but to shake the box to level the litter. I like to include Arm as well. When said girl kitty drops a load, Hammer's double duty deodarizer kicks in. However, even shaking that inside the box's opening was difficult. br>In short, I like the concept, but removing and adding litter was a lot more work (and mess) than I expected, so I just ordered the Nature's Miracle Advanced Hooded Corner litter box. I hope to be able to afford the $170 automatic litter boxes someday, but until then, I'll have to make do with manual scooping.

I still scoop litter with this box because the clips aren't strong enough
3/5

Perhaps the Litter-Buster had already spoiled me. We have Robot, which is a fully automatic litter box, but we needed a backup in case two cats needed to use the facilities at the same time (or, more likely, one cat guarding the box so the other couldn't), and they do! This is a hooded manual litter box with a built-in sieve and drawer on the right side of the opening. The 'treasures' should be removed from the drawer by rolling it over to sieve, then rolling back. In practice, I found the clips to be finicky and difficult to secure and un-secure. When I roll the box onto its side for the sift function, I'd get litter leakage if it wasn't completely clipped. Although it appears to be a simple concept, the seal must be of exceptional quality in order for the concept to work.

It's far superior to electricity
5/5

I've owned a number of electric self-propelled vehicles. They all die after months or years of living in clean litter boxes. It's incredibly simple to clean this litter box; simply roll it over and the litter falls into the scoop. Roll it back up, and the cleaned litter will be returned to its proper location. This one has the potential to go on for a long time!.

I bought a medium, which means it's a little bigger than a small
3/5

I purchased the medium size, which refers to the product's size rather than the actual size of the cats' litter. I have a six-month-old Siamese, and the medium size appears to be too small for her. If you're looking for a large quantity, this is the place to go.

It was difficult to use, and the pieces did not separate well.
