I ordered them not once, but twice because the price was so good. On the same day, not once but twice. The filters, not the litter box refills, were what I received. There is a significant distinction. It's usually the case that something appears too good to be true. It was a good lesson. (The photo above is for litter box refills, and the boxes do not look alike. ) The filters, not so much. This time, Amazon should be held accountable. ).
Is there a difference between using these and not using these? Yes, if you have the litter box that goes with them, you can use them. They have an impact on people's lives. The mechanics of the actual litter box proved to be a problem in the end, so we got rid of it and replaced it with the Litter-King. We adore the robot.
The price, on the other hand, is a tad excessive. Although Amazon is a little less expensive, the price for a tiny little charcoal filter with a sticker is still ridiculous. However, if you want to have a non-alcoholic beverage, This, along with some high-priced cat litter, makes for a stinky litter box. A good litter box and some litter deodorizer powder will do the trick.
I'd like to confirm what another reviewer said: you'll only get the FILTERS, not the receptacles, when you order these. Both the filters and the receptacles are shown in the photos. To add to the confusion, the answers to the questions are contradictory.
I use the Permalid and the adaptor that allows you to use plastic bags instead of boxes, so I bought this pack of just filters because I'm no longer buying boxes. They are effective, in my opinion. Although I clean out the poopbox, as I call it, every three days, I usually have a couple stuck to the lid to help with the smell. If it's any more than that, it'll be too full, and the fliters will become dirty. I'm not sure how often I should change the filters, but I'm thinking once every three months. 4 weeks.
Simple to work with. This is a fantastic litter box. It comes highly recommended.
