Questions & Answers

What is the procedure for using a litter box? What is it that causes it to start cleaning?

It is extremely effective. Slowly roll it over and pound it a little to get rid of anything stuck to the bottom or sides, then slowly roll it back and remove the drawer, carefully dumping the contents back into the box. Remove the drawer and discard with one more slow 45-degree roll, then roll it back in the opposite direction to even out the litter. This way, you're only using a small amount of clumping litter; At first, I was getting rid of a lot of stuff.

What is the most effective litter?

I don't have this one, but I do have a few others of this KIND and armour. The best tool is a hammer SLIDE!! Others appear to leave the urine-soaked litter on the bottom of the bin!

Is the large suitable for a coon from Maine? He's currently 15 pounds, but he'll most likely reach 20 pounds in the near future. ?

It should be fine for a 20 pound dog if you get the large one. cat. My cats weigh somewhere between 12 and 15 pounds. , and they don't seem to have any issues with it. There are two litter boxes in my house, one of which is self-contained. By far, the one that involves cleaning is my favorite.

Is it possible to use pine litter?

With pine litter, I wouldn't recommend it. When cleaning, the grate would probably catch the majority of the litter. It's a good idea to use Swheatable as a litter.

The HACKS for making this litter box work can be found below
4/5

I'm currently working on my fifth. I despise litter boxes, and this seemed like the perfect solution. However, some of the negative reviews are accurate, and I've discovered a hack to make this product perfect:br>br>After installing the grate, super glue it down. The latches are broken, so there's no need to move it. It'll be held in place by super glue. br>br>Then duct tape the top to the bottom piece (as shown in the photo) because the plastic expands and can cause a litter leak. It's impossible for litter to leak into the disposal tray once it's duct taped shut. br>br>In addition, the proper litter is essential! Fresh step boxed litter (like powder) is fantastic, but the larger litter isn't as effective. br>br>Once you've figured out how to fix these problems on your own, the end result is fantastic! I only gave it four stars because I had to solve a problem.

After reading all of the negative reviews about how long the rakes last and how powerful they are
5/5

After reading all of the negative reviews about the rakes' longevity, power, and other issues with all of the electric self-cleaning boxes, as well as the fact that many of them required expensive specially formulated crystal packs and other nonsense recurring charges where the user wasn't given a choice of litter, I decided to go with this semi-automated system. a method that is automated So far, everything has gone well. It was put together in a short amount of time. There were no issues with the inner grill piece or the clips that held it together that others had reported. It would be preferable if the tray door edges were molded to better fit the angle of the unit's wall against which it closes. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. If I find any problems with it later, I'll revise. This unit was very precisely fitted together from top to bottom, with the exception of the tray door edge, which probably doesn't matter. When tossed around, it does not spill any cat litter. So far, sifting cat stuff with a scooper has been much more difficult. There will be no more back-tracking. Squatting and scooping are a great way to break a sweat.

It's the simplest, quickest, and most cost-effective method ever! There are three cats in my house, two of which are quite large
5/5

The best litter box I've ever seen. It's so simple to roll that I do it several times a day. I've had a Large box for over a year and have recently added another. But, as you can see in the photo, I altered both of them by removing a section of the hood. Now that I can see inside, I can easily loosen clumps of pee that have become stuck. Adding more litter is now simple. The big cats now have more room to run around in. The plastic hood is quite strong as long as you tip and roll it carefully, grabbing each end by the strong seams where the hood and pan meet. I've been writing to Omega Paw, urging them to make the pan this way so they can add a reinforced top edge. But, for the time being, this is the best litter pan ever for the price! Both pans were cut (with an electric saber saw) six months ago, and nothing has cracked or broken since then. It's a cinch to use. Love it!.

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever We used to have an electric automatic litter box, and while it was convenient, we always had to touch where the waste clumps were dropped to empty it, or even worse, clean the teeth of the device that combed through the litter because it would get clogged and just push the litter and cat poop around like a bulldozer
5/5

I was skeptical when I first saw it, but it was reasonably priced, so I gave it a try about a month ago. br>br>It works like a charm; I've never had to clean anything or come close to touching any cat waste, and it only takes 15 seconds to slowly roll the unit and allow the litter to sift through the grate. I then roll it back over and give it a little thump on the bottom. I go dump it in the garbage because it has a handle that slides in and out. That's all there is to it. Refill with litter a couple of times a week and that's it. Our cat is a slob who flings litter all over the place, but this unit keeps it contained. br>br>This device is impenetrable to bullets. I would strongly suggest it. br>br>Edited on the 8th of August, 2018. I've been very impressed with this litter box so far. So far, I haven't had to clean out the unit. Clean the grate of cat feces. nothing. This is a fantastic product that is well worth the money.

I was ecstatic to get my hands on this litter box
3/5

I was ecstatic to get my hands on this litter box! The design seemed to have a lot of potential. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype when used for a long time. To begin with, there are some immediate concerns: it WILL make the area around your litter box dusty. With all of that churning, I had to deal with a layer of dust covering everything in the room, and no matter how hard I tried, litter always managed to clog up the groove that the top is supposed to fit into tightly to lock in the litter when you roll it. Clump-trapping areas can also be found on the inside of the litter box. The front left corner of the tray has a groove, and the bottom has nubs that "hold the grating" in place. My cats use the corners and end up urinating in these obstacles, so they always seem to need cleaning. This leads me to the second, more vexing problem. The grate in and of itself. It's made from a "fold" of plastic that's held in place by the nubs on the litter's bottom. When a cat urinates in the corner, it clogs the grating on both sides of the grate and makes a gloppy mess around the bottom nubs. When you roll the litter box, the weight of the clumps collapses the grate if you don't open the box on a regular basis. Despite my best efforts, the plastic along the fold cracked due to wear and tear. I attempted to extend its life by using duct tape to reinforce the fold and grooves on the outside. Of course, this necessitated me opening it up and getting my hands dirty on a regular basis, so I assumed I'd received a faulty grated piece. When I inquired about purchasing a replacement grate, I was informed that it was not available separately. They would, however, send me a new receipt if I still had mine. I don't know about you, but I didn't keep the receipt for a litter box I bought more than a year ago. I didn't see anyone else in the reviews mentioning these problems, so I figured I'd just buy another in the hopes of finding a "bad grate. " "To my "great" dismay, the second one is experiencing the same issues as the first. The grate becomes clogged and eventually falls down. Litter will accumulate in the grooves, forcing me to clean them out with a toothpick on a regular basis. This means that cleaning it takes longer than cleaning a traditional litter box with a scoop. I was so fed up with it that I simply removed the top and used it in the traditional manner. The rolling method has a lot of advantages. If the company improves the design and materials, and addresses these issues, I would definitely try another one!.
